Chapter 15: Maison des Fleurs

the next night I decided to talk to Austin about the ordeal. After talking with my friends about we decided to forgive him and give him a second chance.

It was around 9pm and I finished getting ready for bed. Although I was wearing something that I would never actually wear to bed. It was skimpy silk pajamas. My hair was down but I wasn't wearing any makeup.

I had put cups in the top to make my boobs look rounder and perkier. I take one last look at myself in the mirror in my bathroom then sit on my bed. I grab my phone, I unlock it and press my FaceTime app then Austin's name. It begins ringing, Austin answers almost immediately.

"Hey" he says shyly

"Hey I wanted to talk is right now a good time?" I ask

"Yeah of course I'm not busy I just came back from the studio" he says smiling his hair was in a bun and had stray hairs sticking out everywhere.

"Okay. I just wanted to say that about what happened the other night is your business and you are right we aren't dating so I had no place to get mad at you. Even if you did something wrong or not" I say. I didn't know how or what to say exactly but the point is that I want to go back to normal.

"No no ivy don't be like that what I did looked disrespectful to you. I'm not talking to any other girl just you and I told you I loved you,I wasn't lying. Label or not I disrespected you and I'm sorry. I just felt awkward because Jason brought her and I didn't know what to say to her I was so uncomfortable the whole night believe me" Austin says. I smile at him. He's being so sweet how could I not forgive him.

"It's okay bub I forgive you" I say blushing

"I love you ivy it took me about a day to figure that out. you are so perfect I wish I could come see you but I'm leaving for Australia soon" he says. I lay on my side and look down I didn't want him to leave. While moving on my side,  I lowered my phone a bit.

"Ay! Pretty momma what you wearin?" Austin says smiling his biggest smile

"Just pajamas"I say innocently

"Why don't you show me in a full body mirror" he says slowly in a deep voice

"Okay daddy" I say innocently. He groans

I walk to my bathroom and flip the camera so it was facing the mirror.

"You're so beautiful"he says moaning

I turn to my back facing the mirror so Austin could see my ass peeking out of the bottoms.

"Jesus Christ I need you baby" I hear Austin say. I giggle and flip the camera back to me.

-next day-

My alarm goes off and I groan I was up late last night FaceTiming Austin. I grabbed my phone turning my alarm off and try to muster up enough energy to sit up and get out of bed. I showered, brushed my teeth and put on simple makeup. Once I was finished getting ready in the bathroom I moved to my closet. I felt cute today. Since it was spring I chose a light summer-y outfit. It was San Francisco it might be spring but the weather felt like it was summer.

I left my room after putting the outfit on, spraying myself with perfume and putting my school stuff in my bag. I had a class and work today. I heard a knock at the door, my eyebrows went up in confusion. No one ever knocks on the door. Sasha already left for work so I had no idea who it could've been. I walked to the door and pulled it open.

"Hello?" I say staring at the man in front of me. He was wearing a white shirt, khakis and a white hat.

"Ivy Ford?" He asks

"That's me" I say wearily

"You have a package if you could just sign here" he points to his iPad I sign it with my finger he then hands me a large box. I mutter a thank you grabbing the enormous box. It wasn't heavy at all. I closed the door behind me and sat the box on the dinner table.

I ripped open the box inside the brown cardboard box was a cream round box that fit perfectly inside the brown box. I pulled out the much nicer cream round box and lifted the top open I gasped. It was roses with design in the middle that was a heart with gold roses. A card laid on top. I grabbed it and opened it
It read

To my love,

I hope you like these roses. I can't wait to see you.

I pulled the card to my chest. I couldn't believe he got me a box of roses.

I grab my phone. (Of course taking a picture and posting it on my Instagram and Snapchat story). I opened mine and Austin's messages. That's weird Austin hasn't texted me good morning like he usually. Maybe he slept in. I message him saying good morning and thank you for the roses. I send him a picture of them.

All day Austin didn't reply to my texts. It was weird. In class and at work I was constantly checking my phone waiting for him to reply or call me but he didn't once. I was in my bedroom studying but it was hard to focus. I was waiting for Austin to reply. I sighed. I guess he wasn't going to FaceTime me tonight. I closed my books and turned off my lights giving up and trying to go to sleep.
