Going to class and work, was me just moping around the whole time. Austin hasn't texted me and I have convinced myself that the little fairytale I've conjured up in my head was never going to happen. I'm wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants with a messy bun, Currently sitting on a stool behind the cashier desk at the clothing boutique I work at. I scroll through Twitter waiting for my shift to be over. I feel my phone begin to buzz, Austin's name pops up on my phone, he's calling me. I answer.

"hello?" I say

"hey, how are you?"

"i'm good, just at work you?"

"I'm okay it's hard not seeing you" I smile at his response

"my lifes pretty boring without New York" I say

"Yeah I know what you mean. It's always a lot of fun hanging with you" he laughs at the end. The bell rings signaling that costumer is coming inside the store

"Hey I'm sorry I have to go a costumer came in. I'll FaceTime you when I get home yeah?" I say quickly and quietly

"Sure bye Ivy" Austin says lowly

"Bye Austin"

The costumer walks around the store a bit searching through the racks of clothes. Picking out a few things then coming to my counter. I scan her items then she hands me exact cash. I put her things in a bag then hand it to her.

"Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day" I smile at her. She nods at me then leaves the store. I slouch back down on my chair.

Finally after two more long hours my shift is over I grab my things and leave the store walking towards the bus stop. I get on the bus and wait for my stop. This routine is so repetitive I think I could do this with my eyes closed. Unfortunately when I get home I know I have to study for atleast two hours before I can allow myself to FaceTime Austin. Which will also be my reward for studying. Once I get inside my apartment I drop my school bag opening it grabbing my notebook, textbook and a highlighter. I set my timer on my phone for two hours, I grab some snack food and a vitamin water then press start timer on my phone. I read through the required chapters highlighting important things while writing down and summarizing each part. I read through my notes that I take in class while also rewriting them and highlighting the most important parts. My timer goes off and I sit back into my chair throwing my head back. My brain feels like it's going to explode. I raid through the fridge deciding on making a chicken and bacon garden salad for my dinner. I'm pretty sure Sasha has a work dinner tonight so I won't have to worry about making some for her. I take out the pre-cooked bacon and all the vegetables that I need for my salad. I take out raw chicken seasoning it with only salt and pepper and then cutting it in strips. I put that on a pan on the hot stove stop letting it cook. In the mean time I wash and cut the vegetables putting it in a bowl with lettuce that was previously in a bag. I stir around the chicken in the pan allowing it to cook on each side. Once the chicken is fully cooked I put it over top of the salad with small bacon pieces then croutons. I drizzle my favorite salad dressing on top then mix it all together. I sit down in the living room watching my Netflix show while I eat. After about two episodes I turn the tv off. I clean the kitchen and wash the dishes while drying them and putting them away. Just as I finish I hear the front Doorknob turn, Sasha steps into our apartment.

"Hey, how was your work dinner?" I ask

"It was free food that was pretty much the only good part about it" she says "anyway. I'm going to bed I've been up since like five in the morning" she complains. I nod putting the last dish away.

"Goodnight" I say and she replies with a goodnight then shuts her bedroom door.

I go into my room then my bathroom checking my hair and face. I'm not wearing any makeup so I quickly put some on just to make myself look okay on camera. I only put on foundation concealer and mascara. Looks like I'm not wearing any makeup but my skin looks matte with no blemishes.

I sit on my bed and begin FaceTiming Austin he answers within seconds.

"Hey" he says smiling. I don't know where he is but he has his top and bottom grills in.

"Hey are you busy? We can talk later?" I say

"No don't worry about it I just had to make an appearance at a club I'm just on my way home now" he explains sipping a bud light

"Oh okay, how was it?" I ask club appearance sounds cool.

"Eh, it wasn't anything special" he shrugs.

"Post is that your girl let us see!" I hear

"No I told you guys I was getting my own Uber for a reason" he says I'm assuming talking to whoever said that.

"Aweh cmon I wanna see if she's as hot as you say she is" the same guy says. My face goes red and Austin just glares at the guy.

"I'm sorry for this" Austin says looking at his phone

"It's no problem" I shrug. Austin then turns his phone to face me to the front of the car. He was sitting in the very back of an SUV it appeared to me. I see three guys sitting in the middle seats.

"Hi" I wave shyly, my cheeks still pink.

"Can we ask you questions." The friend on the right slurs.

"Uh sure" I say

"What's your favorite color-" the friend on the right begins to ask but gets cut off by the friend on the left smacking him on the back of the head.

"Ask her good questions" he says.

"Like what?"

"Who's your ex"

"Oooh you're such an asshole"

"What it's a good question then we get to know"

"Yeah true"

"Yeah"

"So who is it" they both say looking back at the phone after they bicker. The middle friend grabs the phone from Austin so they could turn around and face the phone at themselves.

"Guys cmon don't do that" I hear Austin say. They ignore him.

"Uh his name was Michael" I say shyly

"How long did you guys date?"

"Five years" I say looking down. Their eyes go wide.

"That's a long time. How did it end?"

"It- it was mutual" I stutter not wanting to explain the truth.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah just grew apart" I lie

"When did you guys break up?"

"Like a year ago, I think"

"Austin talks about you a lot" the one in the middle blurts. I can't help but smile.

"Okay that's enough" I hear Austin say then stealing his phone back.

We end up talking until I fell asleep not really remembering when exactly but when I woke up the next morning we never ended the FaceTime and seeing his sleeping face in the morning made me smile fight away.

I end the FaceTime then text him good morning with a sun emoji. Sitting up today is my day off from class and work but unfortunately mid terms are coming up so I have to study.

After about an hour of reading I get a text from Austin. He replied to my text with a good morning back.

We ended up texting all day and night then FaceTiming before bed.

*#$ SORRY THIS IS SO LATE I HAD TO GO TO MY FRIENDS GRANDMAS FUNERAL$#*

Authors note: I know this is more of a filler chapter but I wanted to atleast write something in between when they aren't together. Unfortunately I can't write a chapter for each day so I will be doing a time skip.
