*week later*
It was finally spring break and I was packing for my trip to LA. Finally I get to see Austin after like a week and a half. Mack and Amy were coming with me unfortunately Sasha couldn't take time off work. I was packing up the last of my things, Amy was coming right now to pick me up then we were off to the airport. The flight was only an hour and a half, thank god long flights are the worst. Mack texts me saying that they're here , I zip up my suitcase and grab my backpack leaving my room.
"Bye Sasha" I say putting on my shoes.
"Wish I was coming dude" She frowns
"Next time" I say walking out the door. I leave the apartment building. I see Amy's car pulled into a parking spot. I put my suitcase in the trunk and open the backseat door and get in. I put my bag beside me.
"hey" I say
"hi!" they both say excitedly
"LA is going to be so much fun!" Amy says. We all agreed with her
"You must be extra excited Ives" Mack says looking back at me
"Yeah I miss him" I blush. they both 'awe' at me.
the drive consisted of us jamming out to music. when we get to the airport Amy begins to freak out because we can't find a parking spot.
"I give up we can't find one! there's to many cars! it's too hard to drive! Ivy can you please drive for me I can't do it anymore" Amy shouts from the drivers seat. This happens A LOT when Amy drives, she has the worst driving anxiety ever. One thing goes wrong while she's driving and it's like her body shuts off.
"Amy, you are fine okay? Once we find a parking spot you'll feel better. lets go down the next lane" I say trying to coax her. she nods and turns into the lane I was talking about. We finally find a parking spot, Amy pulls in. we get out and grab our suitcases from the trunk. we then walk to the shuttle stop closest to us.
"What airline are we flying?" Mack asks
"Let me check my phone" I say as I search my bag for my phone. I check my phone for my e-ticket
"Virgin" I say. Locking my phone putting it back into my bag. The shuttle stops in front of us and the driver helps us with our bags as we find a place to sit.
"So what are you and Austin?" Mack asks as we sit beside each other. Amy sits behind us and leans forward to be included in the conversation.
"We haven't really talked about that but we text all the time, FaceTime every night and like send each other memes on Instagram" I Say explaining the lengths of my relationship with Post Malone.
"That's cute. I don't think we've ever seen you genuinely happy with a guy before" Amy says. I look at her and nod. I hate talking about my past relationship with Michael. Even if someone says a comment like that. He does come up every so often and he still finds new ways to harass me but no one needs to know about that.
"So Disney or Universal?" I ask changing the subject. Amy and Mack end up bickering about which one is better all the way until we get to luggage check.
"Okay this enough! Mack put your damn suitcase on the scale" I exclaim annoyed. Mack shuts up and puts her bag on the conveyer belt next to the lady. she attaches a long sticker to the handle and presses a button that makes the belt move onto another belt that's constantly moving with bags on it. Me and Amy do the same thing and repeat the motions. The lady hands us our boarding ticket.
"okay now we just need to get through security then Starbucks" I say As we head over to security. unfortunately the lineup was atleast 20 minutes long and the guy behind us would not leave us alone.
