Chapter 4

An hour later I hear the door creak open and footsteps pound into the living room, where I was sitting.

"Cindy!" Samantha, my youngest sister calls excitedly as she jumps on top of me.

"Oof!" I exclaim,"how was school Samantha?" I ask.

"Great!"my sister smiled,"we learned about the letter G today- and we learned a song that goes with it. Do you want to hear it?"

Ahhhh, the days of kindergarten. I wish I could go back and do it again.

"Sure!" I answered happily.

"G is the 7th letter, it starts the alphabet. It's not a vowel, nor a word. But it's fun, not like nerds. G makes a sound just like guh, it's always fun to sound,duh," Samantha finished by putting her arms in the air and smiling.

"Wow! you memorized that today?" I asked.

"Yep,"she answered proudly,"it's to the tune of twinkle twinkle little star!"

"I noticed. Do you have any homework?" I ask her.

"I have to name 10 words that start with G, but thats it,"she answers proudly.

"Ok, well you better go get started!"I tell her.

She smiles, nods and bounds off to the kitchen.

I smile. Out of all the siblings in this house, I am connected most with Samantha. We are like two peas in a pod.

Soon I hear the fighting of my 5th grade siblings, Kate and Brady, and trying to get them to stop is my 6th grade siblings Jenna and Ryan.

Yeah, my parents were big fans of twins.

I sigh and stomp upstairs to the front door, where they are standing there fighting to the death.

I take a deep breath and scream"WHAT IS GOING ON!"

The room goes quiet for a minute. Then Kate pipes up,"Brady told his friend that I have a crush on him."

I raise my eyebrow at Brady.

"What?" he asks,"I was just trying to help.I overheard her talking to one of her friends about him so I figured I could help by telling him that."

"How is that helping?" Kate asks him in an annoyed voice.

"Well I thought that-" Brady starts.

"ENOUGH!" I sigh,"Brady and Kate-go to your rooms. You can work this out later,"Brady and Kate give each other a glare, then run up the stairs to their rooms. I turn to Jenna and Ryan,"now, can someone please explain where Max, Lilah and Tyler are?"

"Max had a friend take him over to their house for a little bit, Lilah is at Girls On The Run and Tyler got in trouble and was sent to the principals office," Jenna fills me in.

"He got in trouble again?Uggghhhh, I'll be right back," I say as I grab my keys of the hook in the laundry room and pull on my fall coat,"you two are in charge."

"Ok," Jenna answers as she pulls out her phone and calls one of her friends.

I turn to Brad,"please just make sure they don't get hurt or anything."

"Will do sis,"he assures me as I step out the door.

I smile and unlock my car. I quickly jump into the drivers seat and put the keys into the ignition. Boy was Tyler gonna be in trouble.Big trouble.
