On my way back to the last track I knew where the camp was, I suddenly felt something wasn't right as the sun in my system began to leave my entire being like it was slowly taken away from me. The feeling of it was sorrowful to the point of making me quivered and fell on the ground as everything started to fall apart. I glance up to the night sky and it was just fading to half. I shook my head for not believing it was happening to me. I tried to hurry up before my sun loses its glow.

"Dad, help LJ. She's dying." I linked to my dad as I kept running out toward the thick fog where perimeter of FALLEN monsters lives.

I'm a vampire and my speed was accelerated to the point of no one could ever see me passed by. Crossing their territory, I made it back close enough to reach the camp's perimeter but as I got there, the surroundings were being knocked down like hell break loose. Blood splattered everywhere and corpses being buried like they supposed to be – not as trash.

I immediately dashed to the camp but watchers noticed my presence and stopped me. They didn't realize I was the daughter of their chief since I died that made my scent shifted into full bloomed vampire. It angered me because time was ticking that made me screamed.

"DAD!" I shouted that made the guards who were stopping me halted from my commanding voice.

"Let her pass." My dad commanded them that made me rushed to him.

"Where is she?!" I asked worryingly that made me dad tied-tongue and wouldn't tell me where exactly she was.

"DAD!" I snapped my dad's attention to meet mine.

"Gone..." the only relied I heard from his mouth.

"NO!!!!!" I screamed at him as my rage getting best out of me.

"Elaine, her wolf couldn't bare the feeling of losing its mate..." he continued that made glared at him.

"Let me see her." I insisted as I tried to get passed through him.

"No...she's changing..." he stopped me by catching my arm and forcedly turned me to face him.

"DAD! SHE'S MINE AND I'M GONNA DO WHAT I SUPPOSE TO DO!" I shouted at him that made him held back and released me since I'm changed.

If I'm calm and collected before; now it's different, I'm bloodthirsty vampire. Then I bolted to the infirmary room in the campsite.

At the infirmary, the guards were doing their jobs and wont allowed me to enter but I knowing myself, nothing would stop me each time I set my mind on something. Not even them. I forced myself on entering the room that made me easily tossed them through the door just to break it down. When it was opened, I was right that the scent of the sun in my whole body was fading as I watched her lifelessness and paleness figure.

I walked toward her weakly. I don't want to cry but my eyes failed me on that part. I cried as I kneeled down, crying my heart out. This was the very first time I cried.

"How could I be careless...I have a mate...now...this..." I cried as I reach her turning cold hand and caressed it.

"...I'm sorry...I'm such a fool...believing the bond was strong enough yet I neglected my mate's feelings...I'm not so worthy of you, LJ...I'm sorry." I started to blame myself to what's happening to her.

When I died, I felt so lonely since our bond was blurred but it was still there that's why I kept my head up. I went to looked around to learn things around the FALLENs but breaking things between us made things worst. I let my mate felt that I won't be coming back when I died and that was the worst curse I could ever put around her. Now, I'm paying for that. I get that. I cried myself out next to her but it still nothing; she was still lifeless until the darkness consumed me. I fell asleep next to her.

Inside my deepest dream, everything was sunny and welcoming warm but it was fading so fast that made me run toward the last light I'm seeing but I couldn't reach that light. I'm missing that warm light until a sunny but tainted blood scent began to lurk around my darkness.

'If there's another chances to be born once again, I'd rather to be with her. Just Elaine Cross.'

'My last words...maybe...once again...to go wherever she may go...I'll be there...'

I looked around to where those sweet voices came from and I saw scenery of a chained FALLEN monster bleeding to death. I cried seeing that scenario and my heart was aching too much like I couldn't breathe anymore.

"LJ...my mate...my love...my other half...my sun..." I cried as I hugged myself like I was feeling everything I could remember about her.

'Now you know the importance of having a mate and being mated...'

"WHO'S THERE?!" I shouted to no one.

'Ask yourself, who are you?'

"DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH ME?!!" I shouted again to no one as my tears kept falling down through my eyes.

CHUCKLES...

'If you want your mate back, take her to the light where first sun always shine. It was the only way to wake her up...'

"What's the catch?" I asked curiously when I heard that.

'...it depends on how you evolve from the new bloods resting within you.'

"Who are you?" I wondered since I've got the feeling I knew this person.

'Answers will be soon but if you don't hurry up, she'll never yours again.'

I was about to complained but I was suddenly woke up by my father when he lifted me from my slumber.

"Dad..." I mumbled that made my father stopped from walking and put me down.

"Where's the sunrise from here?" I directly asked that made him looked curiously at me but I didn't answer.

"Western board." He answered as he watched me carefully.

"Is there any mountain there?" I asked again that made him nodded and it made me smiled in relief.

I looked at LJ's lifeless body then kissed her forehead then I began to angle myself to carry her in my arms. My father smirked knowingly to what I'm planning to do that made him stepped aside and let me do my responsibility to my mate.

I want my mate back.
