I carried her in my arms as I sprinted out of the camp to go to the western border. I fled without looking back and run as fast as I could since it was miles away from the camp. Without any food on my system, I just rashly went there but at the aisle, I felt something lurking around the bushes. I halted for a moment and let my senses do its trick. I was right somebody was there; a hungry hunter. I dropped LJ carefully before stretching my stiff body and the hunt began.

10 monsters emerged from the bushes and charged at me. It was perfect timing for me to feed since my stomach cant handle anymore hunger in my system. I fought them as they all attacked me non-stop. They were all hunger and so am I. one by one were being slashed down and bleeding but still halfway dead. I stood my ground but the others who were still standing, immediately left as fear ate them.

I chuckled but these fellows they left behind will the food for my long run tonight. I sucked my teeth on each one of them till they were no more life left then I burned them. I waited for them to turned ashes before leaving and continued my journey to the western border.

The night was getting deeper and deeper as I kept running as fast as I could. I never thought of stopping again even some sharped branches gave tons of scratches onto my face. Everything doesn't matter to me apart from having and saving my lifeless mate around my arms. As we reached the peak of the mountain by passed midnight, I laid her down on the ruined stone where the moonlight became the spotlight for us.

"There were so many things I wanted to tell you; to show you. Just come back to me and be mine once again. I'll be happy share them with you again." I painfully said while admiring her sleeping face.

My tears suddenly fell onto my face then I kissed her lips. I could still taste the sweetness of the morning sun from it and I'm missing how it responded to mine. I miss her so much. I love her as always but in the middle of my admiration and recollection of our past events, a very foul and rotten scent began to cover the entire mountain peak.

"Vengeance..." I mumbled as I shook my head in disbelief to what they're planning on me.

I stood up on the ground then put some healing barrier at LJ, so she won't be touched by anyone of them aside from me. I prepared myself but before I could fully do that, they all attacked me. I don't have time to dodge it since they were all encircled around me.

"This is going to be a long night." I sighed as I began to counter every attack they're going to give on me.

I used my speed on them but some can still keep up with me that's why I attacked them first. They were all attackers not a tactician for them to counter my every counter. They couldn't anticipate them very well. They all attacked like mindless idiots but they were all tiring to deal with. The blood I've drank earlier were beginning to subside within my system.

"I have to finish this now." I hissed within my thoughts as the predator instincts within my started to kick in.

My sight turned into bloodshed as my eyes turned into scarlet fire with mauve touch around it. My tattoos began to show up and it was imprinted half of my body from my face down to my toe. As I released that shift of mine, my entire being began to double.

I easily managed to cut their throats and burned them to ashes though I managed to do all of it, they were still kept coming up to me. They were mobbing me. They were too much and they were really getting into my nerves.

ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I began to scream on the top of my lungs and kill every one of them in one blow. I'm a vampire-witch what do you expect.

After that ridiculous mob, I went back to my true form and went to LJ's situation. I sighed since nothing happened. She was still on her lifeless form that made me sad. I caressed her face before kissing her forehead then I lay down next to her. I snuggled myself to her and let myself drifted into darkness.

I was on my deep sleep but again, something was lurking around the bushes that made me jolted and up since it was something more deadly. I sighed since I just finished the second mob and now, another round. But whatever types of this monster it could be, I'm going to face them heads up since I'm doing this to protect my sleeping beauty.

I get up but still sitting next to LJ. I centered myself this time and my healing protective barrier around her before I stood up firmly on my ground. I even stretched my whole body when second mob of foul and rotten wolf rogues began to emerge from the shadows of the trees around us.

"Seriously, I'm having my nap time." I only sighed since I know they couldn't speak since they were just growling and roared at me.

"Well, shall we." I sinisterly said as I cracked my neck from being stiff then my entire being once again quickly shifted into deadly side of mine and they attacked me.

As they kept on attacking me, I kept on dodging in returned. But in every attacked they did were giving me no sweat at all until they came. From omegas now, deltas; these group managed to give me tons of scratches and some of it were bleeding. They were the ones who giving me hard time on finishing this fight. I distanced myself for a moment before shifting my skills into two percent and faced these deltas.

I was moving smoothly while fighting them as well protecting my mate from the mob of fouls monsters. They were kept on attacking me like it will never end and I was reaching my limit but I never showed them. I was draining drastically from blood lost and since the blood I drank, couldn't hold anything anymore.

"Darn this!" I pulled my last strings to make my last stand before anything come to darkness.
