As we followed my father inside the camp, everyone was looking at us in their tired faces even Velvet received wounds that made me blood boiled like I wanted to kill anyone who'll hurt my comrades. Setting that aside, inside my father office that was seriously doesn't looked like one since everything were been ruined.

"Go straight to the point." I started before he could even face us.

"Very well, every border around the Roosevelt was under attack for some reason that we still need to figure out. I called you two here since you were the only one could do those things but the bond between you two wasn't stable since it happened." My father started but I could tell how sorry he was for us since our mate bond were already gone.

"Dad..." I glared that made him composed himself before continuing what he was saying to us.

"Well, I meant you two must gather your team within the camp. Train them harder as you will but it must be as quick as you can before I let you depart the camp to do your assigned task." He finally said what bothering me since I came to this camp.

"Assigned task?" LJ asked in curiosity like she couldn't hear my thoughts before.

"Yes. Aside from letting you lived outside the school perimeters to learn the life here, the Trinity as well your mentors, given a task for you that they believe that only you two can." He explained as he took out something from his coat.

"And that's to figure out the reason of these monsters to run like zombies." I continued for him that made him smirked like a proud father.

"Indeed." He agreed as he handover the letter to LJ's.

"Like I thought. I crossed path with two frighten jackals and they were dead but my guts tells me different story that I'm so late to do that." I sighed while my mind drifted to those lunatic jackals that helped me with my blood transfusion.

"Why you say that?" he asked me with worry in his tone.

"They already made their experiments. I don't know how many but I can tell that they can outnumbered us now since they managed to weaken our defenses in every boarder." I cleared to him as he nodded in understanding but knowing my father, I bet he was also telling everything he was hearing to them – the Trinity, our mentors and my insane mother.

"And Dad, defend this boarder at all cost. We're going to take this task even there was no guarantee that we could make it back here. Also tell them, thank you." I told to my father before I stood up and leave his office.

Outside his office, I went to Velvet and the other FALLEN beast that I managed to tame. I know they felt my mood shift and even without saying anything they just nodded and stood up in front of me.

"We're with you." My new tamed FALLENs said in chorus.

"Well, I'm gonna defend my turf at the woods since I don't want to be left behind by my sister on defending her own back there." Velvet chuckled then she gave me a welcoming hug that really soothed my entire body.

DEEP GROWL.

CHUCKLE.

"Mark her instead growling at me." Velvet chuckled as she stepped away from hugging me since LJ didn't like I was been touch by others.

LJ just make face before walking toward me that made me shook my head and when she reached where I am standing along with the others, she gave me a very possessive hug from behind that seriously made everyone squealed like there were tons of heart bubbles around us. I just shook my head with blank face since my thoughts was drifting into something made me guess that it could be the reason.

"We'll better to find it before they could. If they were, I must think of something epic plan." I thought that made LJ's wolf Kira chuckled from hearing my deep thought.

I didn't realize that she was listening to me or even still alive inside of LJ.

"Kira?" I doubt my hearings through my thoughts.

'One and only mate of yours.'

"Sweet. But does LJ knows that your still alive?" I asked with slight smiled onto my face from her sweet responded from my call.

'She does but she could reach on her will. We're back on scratch.'

"Well, it's a good timing since I have to train the team I am forming and that's including you." Told her while in person I was drinking some artificial blood that my father drinking as well.

'I know. Lunarian needs me now since she lost you.'

"I get that Kira. Just this time, don't let go of her if ever I fail to stay with her again." I sadly said to her that made me looked at LJ who were chatting with new FALLEN beasts that I just tamed.

'Why your sounding like –'

"Just say it, Kira." I smiled sadly to her that made her gave up.

'Fine but better not to.'

I nodded to that but I can't trust myself from saying promises toward them because I broke it before and I don't know to myself if I could keep them this time. Yet, I will try to do it till I made it. I wish I could since our task was a suicide one.

Lunarian Jane Wolfang

After a night of rest, Elaine gathered us to the training facilities under that campsite were the dungeon located as well. Its no time to lose since life of everyone was on the line and it will depends on how successful we did on the given task.

She was about to speak when her father came in with few of his men to be trained along with us. Elaine didn't bother by it yet I've got the feeling she doesn't like what her father was trying to do.

"Anyway, I called you here for some a very classified task that will be no guaranteed about the outcome of this one." Elaine started that made everyone in the facility began to murmured.

"Before I gone further about the task, are you willing to join my troop to perform the assigned task?" she seriously asked everyone that made them in silence while thinking thoroughly.

"Can some of my men come along?" Vladimir asked that cut the silence of the room.

"It depends on what they can do." She responded with her blank façade that seriously gave some chills into my spine.

"So, you're saying that you'll test them?" Vladimir asked in such wonder but excited.

"Yes as well train them. Remember the task was too risky that's why I better choose carefully." She replied while looking to everyone who was chatting.

"Ahm, can you demonstrate what training you're offering to us?" one of the member of this camp asked that made me glared at him.

Elaine smiled devilishly that crept them out then out of the blue she was already in front of the person who asked her then she immediately tapped the guy and he began to feel the pressure of gravity onto his shoulder.

"If you can manage to get out from that force, I might consider you in my team." Elaine sinisterly stated before popping next to me.

"Oh! And don't forget, I am a FALLEN tamer." Elaine smirked to everyone that really made them uneasy but felt threaten.

"Are you sure about this one?" I asked to her by whispering but she just nodded at me then she faced everyone with her sly smile.

"Let start the training with malice." Elaine stated that made everyone gasped since they never encountered such heavy malice that was coming out from the two men standing on her left.

Everyone suddenly can't move nor breathe but some slowly standing up as they get used to the malice radiating within the whole training ground. Even her father quivered over it but he quickly tolerated it. After 30 minutes, Elaine suddenly shifted the malice into something different like she used heavy and thick fog to form image of their fears. Those dark smokes were very familiar to me that made me smirked since this fog really do make your fears alive if you can't defeat them in time.

"She definitely serious on not letting them got involve with this task." I thought to myself while watching each of them began to fight their own skeleton.
