it's such a pity, a boy so pretty
"What is she to you?" the boy in a pink hoodie asked. I shrugged my shoulders and looked back down at my notepad. "Then why do you stare at her every day?" He continues to bug me. But although I already had the answers, I shrug again.
"It would be false if I told you and I'd just look foolish to answer." he chuckled and raked his black hair from his face. "Do you know her?"
He tilts his head and continues to examen the girl on the far bench. "I think so. I've seen her around my apartments. That doesn't mean she lives there. I think she has a friend too."
"Just a friend?" He nods while crossing his legs. I look up at her and smile.
"I'm going to talk to her." He gets up quickly but my hand wraps around his wrist forcing him back down. "What?"
"Why? She looks so peaceful. Just leave her alone." Jin doesn't care. He gets up anyway and fixes his hoodie straps. "Jin!" I say in a loud whisper.
Then it happened. he sat next to her and she made eye contact with him. It was intense as if she's been needing it for a while.
Her blonde hair was moved to one side and her cheeks became flustered at his every word. He's flirting and she's taking it all in.
Jin is a flower boy anyways. I'm not shocked that he caught her attention so quickly. Then there's me. A walking dark cloud who prefers to rain on my own parade every now and then.
I just couldn't risk ruining her afternoon. Luckily, Jin was there to make her smile.
Then she pulled out her phone wrapped in a pink marble case and Jin whipped out his black dull phone. They were obviously exchanging information.
She then waved a simple goodbye while picking up her pastel pink bag and taking off walking.
I eyed her down because I couldn't help it. She was wearing white shorts and oversized rainbow sweater. Her blonde hair clung to the threads of her top as she practically skipped away on her phone. Jin then came back over and I diverted my eyes to him.
"She said I was pretty," he motioned to his face.
Of course he would and of course she did.
I cleared my throat and responded, "what did you say to her?' I tried to sound interested but I was just as hurt as I was when my heart fell at the sight of him getting her number.
"I said she was beautiful and her naturally puffy cheeks were exposed when she smiled. Jungkook-ah, I'm in love."
And that isn't good... for me at least.
