you can't fix yourself by breaking someone else

"Day six my friend." I cringe when Jin slides in the empty spot next to me. "Maybe you're an official stalker now. You qualify for the license and everything."

I then scoot away from him and continue writing in my notepad. "Shouldn't you be hanging out with the seniors instead of breathing down my neck?" I try and push him away some more but he just presses more against me.

I wanted to get up and find another place to sit, but in a split second, he grabs a handful of my hair and smashes my face into the bench. "Listen here, kid. If you tell Lalisa anything you saw yesterday I will make sure you never see the light of day again. Do you understand me?"

I couldn't squeeze a word out since I was too terrified to make a move. I nod my head slowly and he jerks me forward before letting me go. "Jin?" a soft voice calls out faintly.

I fix my hair and rub my aching cheek. "Mind your own business, Jungkook. I mean it." His finger points at me like my mom does when she's scolding me. "Yes, Lisa?" He says in his angelic voice.

"Do you know him?" I look up to the girl hovering over me. She then takes a seat and I no longer knew what air was. Her big brown eyes looked at my face with concern. "A bruise is forming there." Her index finger circles around my right cheek. Although I was insecure, I couldn't bring myself to look away.

"He's just rough with his friends. You know juniors. They do stuff like hit each other with books and throw pencils across the air. Childish things." She giggles.

"Junior boys you mean. Us girls definitely don't do anything like that." I look at her side profile as she giggles with Jin although his laugh was fake.

He then looks at me and reaches his long arm over to pat my shoulder. "Why don't you get out of here Jungkook-ah. It's almost your bedtime." I look to Lalisa completely embarrassed. She seems to be avoiding eye contact with me and I know why.

She's ashamed to even be near me.

"Okay," I force a smile and gather my things. "I'll see you at school Jin." He stuck a thumbs up. I then face Lalisa and simply bow to her.

I can feel it when I'm next to her that there is this blockade of feelings. It's either she doesn't want anything with me or she wants everything but can't show it.

I need to get Jin out of the picture.
