my parents warned me about the drugs in the streets. but never the ones with soft eyes and heartbeats
"He didn't try and salvage your eyes or take your soul?" I shake my head proudly at Namjoon. "Wow, you must of been on his good side." Namjoon sits back down in his seat with a dumbfounded expression.
Hoseok comes back with our ice cream melts. I quickly devour mine since I've been waiting for it all day. "How's your journal entries going? I bet they're filled with Lisa to the max right?" He nudges me hard enough to make my ice cream stumble.
I recover quickly while glaring at him. "Yeah, I read back on the entries I put where I didn't know her name and I thought it would be a great development so I left it that way. Can't wait to edit and turn it in."
"I was a project to you?" I jump five feet off my ass causing Namjoon and Hoseok to do the same.
I almost break my neck trying to figure out who is behind me. But when I turn around, I see nothing. No one. "Are you alright, bro?" Namjoon searches my face for some sort of answer.
"Did you two now hear that? It was Lalisa's voice." I'm still searching the surrounding thinking she probably ran off. I now had Namjoon and Hoseok looking but it wouldn't make a difference. I was obviously hearing things. "Never... mind."
"Are you alright man? Seems as if you're going through Lisa withdrawals." Namjoon pats my back roughly. "Your ice cream is melting onto your lap."
I jump causing the whole cone to fly out of my hand. Hoseok squeals when it hits his arm. I then went to slapping the cream off my uniform pants because I know my mom will kill me if I ruin them.
"Now I have to buy water and hope it dries-" my eyes snap to the girl walking in the thrift store across the street. "Lisa!?" I scream like a lunatic as her blonde hair disappears in the store.
I could feel my friends looking at me like I'm crazy, but I didn't care. I ran after her.
The street wasn't busy so I made it over effortlessly. I didn't care that I looked like a maniac bursting into a clothing store. All the looks I was given didn't even bother me. I just continued to follow her blonde hair like it was no tomorrow.
"Lisa?" I was now whispering but the girl was moving quickly through the racks. I then s[ed my pace just until I was close enough to grab her shoulder. "Li-" a short woman turned around. Her blonde hair whipping me in the eyes. She didn't have Lisa's bangs and she surely didn't have Lisa's face. "I'm... I'm sorry."
"Jungkook, what the hell?" Hoseok almost tackled me as I released the woman. She pulled her purse closer to her and started speed walking away. "You're becoming weird. What's going on with you?"
"I thought... she was Lisa."
