Hello my wonderful Macca-maniacs! It's me, Paulie, and I'm back with a few questions from Monkee66!

Dear Paul,
How are you doing? I'm doing alright.

Hello there, love! I'm doing fine, thanks for asking! And good to know that you're doing alright!

How do you pronounce Macca? Is it Macca like mocking or Macca like mega?

Paul: Well, it's kinda like 'mega', with an 'a' instead of an 'e', and 'cc' instead of a 'g'.

What is one rumor you want to make clear that never happened?

Paul: Definitely the Paul Is Dead rumor/theory/whatever-you-call-it. I never died, my friends never found a replacement that looks, sounds and acts like me, and they never hid subliminal clues in our album covers.

Me: True, true.

Paul: That was from the real Paul McCartney himself. Ask John, George or Ringo if they really did replace me with a phony.

What song are you really proud of?

Paul: I think it would be Here, There and Everywhere. It's my favorite Beatles song, and I'm really proud of it.

Me: Yesterday is also a nice song.

Paul: Yeah, but I'll just stick to Here, There and Everywhere.

If you would trade places with John, George and Ringo for a day would you? What would you do?

Paul: Well... I don't know, I think I would trade places with John.

Me: *nudges Paul playfully*

Paul: Kirsten, stop it! Well, I would be his usual self - pranking others, writing songs, eating cornflakes, being the walrus... do the things he does. I think it would be fun being John.

Me: *nudges him again*

Paul: Hey!

What year is the best year you think?

Paul: I don't know, maybe 1964, I think... because we went to America, and we performed in the Ed Sullivan show, and Beatlemania was born, and... *laughs* I don't really know.

What's your favorite number? How about letter?

Paul: 4, because there are four Beatles, and P, because it stands for Paul!

Me: *sigh* Next question, please.

What is something that would not surprise you?

Paul: I don't know, maybe a bunch of younger kids not knowing who the Beatles are. I mean, that's expected to happen because no one from the new generation knows us.

Me: Ahem?

Paul: Almost no one.

What is something that would surprise you?

Paul: *laughs* A lot of unusual things, but I think something that would surprise me the most would be John not writing songs or him having no sense of humor, George not motivated to play guitar or sitar, him not accepting food or him talking quite a handful of stuff, and Ringo not motivated to play drums or him not being clumsy.

Me: In short, the Beatles not being their usual selves.

Paul: Exactly.

What do you want for your birthday?

Paul: Well... *breathe* perhaps a new set of mascaras, they really do bring out my eyes! I also would want a brand new Hofner bass. I just love its sound, you know, it has this distinct sound that no other bass guitar would produce. I would also want a new scarf, my old scarves are kinda worn out. Hm, what else? uh... *continues talking about what he wants to get for his birthday*

Me: Next question, please.

Do you like math?

Me and Paul: NO!

Me: Unless if it's easy or if I understand how it's done.

Paul: I just... I just don't. Math is confusing for me.

What time is it?

Paul: It's 8:03 am here in Liverpool.

Me: IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE GEORGE MONTH! *blows a birthday horn and throws confetti*

Paul: *sigh* Next question.

What is your favorite drink?

Paul: Margarita. I have my own recipe for it.

Why is John obsessed with jelly and curry?

Paul: I don't know! Well I think his obsession with curry happened when we went to India, but his obsession with jelly... I don't know.

Thank you for answering my slightly weird questions.
Peace,
Monkee66

Monkee66, thank you also for asking! I loved answering these! Please do ask more questions, everyone!

Until next time, my lovelies! 😘

- Paul
