Hoseok and I would see each other but whenever we made eye contact, I quickly turned my head and looked away. I was miserable without my Hope. He seemed miserable as well. His usual customers seemed to notice his behavior as well since frequent complaints were made to me about his non-nonchalant attitude and his unwelcoming tone. Hoseok and I would make sure we were on complete opposite sides of the room, just so my dad would not be mad.

My dad.

This was all his fault. He is always saying he wants me to be happy but the one thing that made me happy, he took away from me.

I has been a few months since Hoseok and I were forced to break up and business started failing. Customers were unsatisfied with the service and the overall feel of the restaurant. They were used to the fun, enjoyable restaurant and not this dull place. Hoseok was everyone's favourite since he always has a wide smile on his face and it seems like he genuinely loves his job. Well it did not seem like that anymore. He now looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but here.

- Third Person POV -

Y/n's dad seemed to notice sudden change in mood of the restaurant. He thought the decision he made about breaking Hoseok and y/n up was for the best but it seems like it did the opposite. He did not like the way his daughter would not smile anymore. He did not like the fact that his most joyous server was always miserable. He did not like the fact that the his staff looked out of it. His principle in this restaurant was that he wanted all the people working there to enjoy themselves.

Y/n's dad knew what he had to do.

- Y/n's Dad's POV -

Hoseok's a good guy right?

He makes my daughter happy so of course he is a good guy.

I think for the first time in my life, I have made the wrong decision.

I took the wall phone and called the break room. Y/n picked it up and answered.

"Come to my office now and bring Hoseok with you" i spoke into the phone,

"Ok dad, we will be there in a second" y/n replied and hung up.

- Y/n's POV -

I was confused as to why my father called Hoseok and I to his office. I called Hoseok and he looked startled at the fact that I said his name. He walked over.

"Hoseok my father wants to see us in his office" I explained and he nodded his head.

We walked with about a meter inbetween us. It was a short but awkward walk.

We entered the room still with a good distance between us.

"You are both probably wondering why I called you in here" said my dad

We both nodded to the statement.

"Well a few months ago, as you probably remember, I made the decision to break you two up because I did not approve." said my dad,

"Well I have been thinking about it and seeing my daughter happy means a lot more than this restaurant and I can see that you make my daughter happy" continued my dad.

Hoseok and I looked a bit taken aback.

"Hoseok, you are a good, responsible man and I can't imagine my daughter with anyone but you. I will give my blessing to let you date my daughter" said my dad. I had a huge smile on my face. So did Hoseok. Unexpectedly, Hoseok bear hugged my dad and my dad just tapped his back.

Hoseok then realised what he did and released the hug.

"Thank you so much sir, I promise to treat y/n like the princess she is" replied Hoseok,

"Ok ok but if you hurt my daughter, I will pounce on you like a tiger" answered my dad in a more joking tone.

"Thank you dad. Thank you, thank you, thank you" I said and hugged my dad tightly with a huge smile on my face.

I then pulled away and brought Hoseok into a hug. We walked out of my dad's office with huge smiles on our faces and we faced each other. Hoseok landed his lips on mine in a sweet, pure kiss. They both pulled away to see a bunch of the other staff members standing there, grinning from ear to ear.

We surely had some explaining to do.

Before you say it, I know. It was a pretty shitty ending.
