"Robin Batgirl meet my new protégé" He turns to look at me
"Uh you can call me Hex"
"Nice choice" Robin says to me smiling
"You two will assist in her basic training until basic training is over no identities will be revealed understood?"
"Yes" we all say in unison
"Good training starts now bring her to the gym and begin" They lead me in the direction of the training gym. When I get there I see some targets sharp throwing object and exercise stuff.
"So new girl what do you want to do first?" he says with a smirk. I point to the targets the the throwing object.
"Cool" Batgirl says. Robin hands me one and I aim and throw it without even knowing how and hit dead center. Robin and Batgirls jaws drop. Robin hands me another one and I aim at a different target hitting just outside the center.
"Uh Hex have you ever done this before" Batgirl asks
"Nope" I smile proud of myself for doing so well
"Well how bout we do some sparing" Robin suggests "oh and you can just call me Rob its easier and just call her Babs"
"Ok" we walk over to the combat ring and Rob hits some buttons the ring then glows
"Ok this ring will assess your fighting so fight hard. lets begin" Rob says "Babs you wanna fight her first?"
"Yeah sure" she says enthusiastically we walk onto the ring and take our stances
"Begin" we hear an automated voice say and we begin to circle each other Babs makes the first move but I see it coming and duck down since I was down I leg swept her but before I could take advantage of her on the ground she was up again and we began circling again this time I make the first move and attempt to kick her mid-section but she grabs my foot and twists me onto the ground.
"Failed" and automated voice said
"Good job!" Rob says
"Yeah thanks but could we spar with those" I point at some long sticks
"Sure" Rob says he grabs two of them and throws one to me "ready?" he asks
"As I'll ever be" I reply sarcastically
"Begin" the voice says and I strike fast and hard and hit him in the gut he lets out a little breath and regains his composure quickly he then attempts to hit my legs out from under me but I block it easily on e his sticks out of my way I put the butt of my stick down and laugh myself threw the air I land on Dicks shoulders and pull my weight backward and he falls the I put my stick against his neck and he surrenders
"Failed Robin" I laugh
"That was fun" I get up and look over the see a really angry Robin "uh I'm sorry" I frown
"Don't be Bruce says you did well oh and I've designed you a costume"
"Really" I say really excitedly
"Really he smiles warmly at me. I hear gasps behind me then a whisper
"Did he really crack a smile for the new girl already" Rob whispered to Babs
"Yes I did" batman glared at them "come Hex I would like to show you your costume" he leads me away
"Batman do they like me" I ask nervously as we approach a big computer
"Yes I'm sure they will slowly over time grow to like you" he says knowingly
"Ok" I frown I didn't want to wait for them to like me but I guess that's life
"So this your suit" I gasp. It consisted of a black muscle shirt with black spandex pants and two black gloves, one normal one and one with a holographic computer, then there was a dark gray corset a yellow utility belt and yellow boots lastly he handed me a small yellow pipe. "Here push that button" I look at the pipe to see a small black button when I press it the pipe extended and became a black fighting stick with yellow ends.
"Wow thanks" I say in shock
"Your welcome you suit should be done in a couple of days and welcome to my little team" he smiles

I walk into my house and quietly shut the door I walk into the living room to see what I expected Sarah sleeping on the couch obviously waiting for me to get home even though I told her she didn't have to. I smile she cares for me so much and I'm so glad I have her and Brian I head up to my room change and hop in bed tired from all the practice I had done at the Batcave.
