I'm a woman
I'm a man
I'm black
I'm white
But one thing I truly am
Is human
I'm not more
I'm not less
But I'm one in a million
I'm special
I'm Me
I'm human can't you see
When you cut me I bleed
When you hurt me I feel
When you touch me I'm real
I make mistakes
I learn everyday
I get sad
I get happy
Just like you
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
Human to human
Heart to heart
We are broken
Let's try to fix it
Sometimes violence seems like the answer
Maybe we should start a war
And we are human
That's what we're here for
Peace and equality may be hard to achieve
It takes time and patience
It takes love not hatred
