Pony: Sneaks away from Darry and goes to the book section.
Dally: Dares Two-bit to do crazy stuff.
Johnny: Obediently follows Darry all around the store.
Sodapop: Goes with Steve to the dessert isle.
Darry: Ends up not buying anything, because Two-bit got them all kicked out. He yells at all of them while they're in the car. "I can't take you guys anywhere!"
Steve: Eats the cakes without paying for them.
Two-bit: Jumps on a pile of soda boxes, and makes a mess everywhere.
