(Ciel's POV)
I woke up to the tiny bits of light streaming in from the cracks in my still closed curtains. This was unusual, Sebastian always woke me up at the exact same time each morning with my breakfast, but he was nowhere to be seen. My throat and eyes felt dry, and my cheeks felt strange. I reached up and touched my face. It felt slightly wet, which was odd because I hadn't remembered having nightmares last night. Usually when that happens my face is slightly sticky with sweat. Now that I think about it, I slept really well last night. Still groggy, I slid out of my bed and tried to tie my eyepatch. To no surprise, I couldn't tie it by myself, so I just ended up putting my white one on that fit over my ears. I'm going to kill that bastard when I get the chance. I try my best to button my shirts. It doesn't look great, but it's going to have to do. I'm exhausted, I feel like I ran a marathon last night. I blamed it on not having my morning tea as I walked to go find someone who could get me breakfast. I ran into Lizzy in the hallway.
"Good morning Ciel!" She hugged me and gave me a bright smile. Since when was she here?
"Good morning Elizabeth, when did you get here?" She looked surprised.
"I've been here since last night!" She exclaimed.
"Do you remember anything from yesterday?!"
"Well I do remember getting up yesterday morning..." I spoke slowly, trying to remember what I had done yesterday.
"Oh, and I do remember getting ready before you came over..." Suddenly, tears were streaming down my face.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" What was going on?! Why the hell was I crying? I remembered my wet cheeks from this morning. Had I been crying last night?
"Ciel! Is everything alright?" She looked extremely surprised, although she was trying not to show it. I didn't blame her, I was surprised myself. The last time I cried was that night, the night I made the contract. Sebastian. He would know what had happened last night, and he wouldn't lie to me either. I saw Sebastian sitting in the garden. His foot was tapping and his hands were running through his hair. He looked thoroughly disturbed and exhausted, but this somehow made him look... really handsome? What the hell was going on? Sebastian was normally just short of absolute perfection, but today his shirt was wrinkled, his hair was mussed and he looked like he may either fall asleep or go on a killing spree any second.
"Ciel?" I forgot Lizzy was still there.
"I'll be right back." Before she could say anything, I sprinted down the stairs and into the garden. I hadn't thought this through, though. I had never seen Sebastian like this, and I didn't know why he was like this either, and it scared me.
