Chapter 1

A young girl seemingly to be in her teen years walked with no purpose down a long almost endless hallway. Her footsteps could not be heard, that is to a regular mortal of course. You see this young mysterious girl is in fact a demon, yet for a demon she is still considered young. Coming to a graceful stop in front of a grand door the girl knocked her knuckles against it wishing to enter the room to discuss a semi important matter, at least she thought so. "Come in," a young boy called out to her and she did as the boy said.

Placing the current book he was reading down on his desk the boy gave the demon his attention, "What is it?" he asked in an irritated way for pulling his mind out of his book. "I'm bored, so i'll be leaving now," the girl informed him with a face that has seen all this world had to offer. The boy abruptly took to his feet after slamming his week palms against his large desk, "What do you mean you're leaving?" He asked for he was practically losing one of his pawns in his game but, the girl wanted to play a game of her own.

"Is my father not enough for you? You greedy little brat," The demon spoke with venom in her voice. "It's time I do something fun for a change," she said as an array of black sand began to surround the girl as if she were the core of a tornado. The eye contact the two held never wavered that is until the young girl was completely enveloped in the black sand. The young boy watched as all the sand that surround the girl fell to the ground. All that was left in the place of the demon was a large pile of irregular colored sand. The boy's face now held anger for he felt as if he were just made a fool out of. The door to the boy's study opened once more and the dark haired male that entered, sighed upon seeing the mess his daughter has made.

After disappearing from the boy's study or more like the whole dimension she appeared in a new one, currently laying in an alley way. The girl took no haste to get to her feet immediately for she new nothing was really waiting for her in this world. But, once she did so, the girl jumped up to the top of building wanting to know her surroundings just a bit more than the view from an alleyway. The young girl looked over the city with a pleased smile as she knew this world was chaotic enough to cure her boredom. "Now to find my chess pieces," the young girl said aloud wanting to start her little game.

A scream erupted from below drawing the girl's attention enough for her to follow the scream. "Hmm~?" she hummed looking down from a new building she stood upon to see two figures below. One appeared human and one not, "Oh how interesting," the girl said crouching down near the edge of the building. After watching the fight for a few moments something grew inside the girl and she committed an action without thinking before hand. The girl kicked a huge spread of metal bars down upon the attacker of the young boy that seemed to catch the attention of the girl. "I deem you one of the pieces on my chess board. Let's see how you play, huh?" The young female said before fleeing the scene.
