Concerned Uchiha Pt. 2

I couldn’t help it, every five minutes I would be running back and forth to make sure she was okay, and every time I went, nothing changed. She stayed asleep and the monitors were working just fine. I ran my hand through my hair, frustrated as to why I’m constantly here. I sat in the chair staring at her. It had been a few hours since she last woke up. I hope leader-sama gets here soon, this is a really boring task, or maybe if Kisame came back from his mission I could put him in charge of her.

 

“Errrrrrhm.”

 

I looked up, the girl started to stir and groan in her bed. I jumped up and placed my hand over her forehead… Right no feeling. This was going to be harder than I thought.

 

“Hey… little girl… are you awake?”

 

She opened her eyes slowly and turned towards me. Can she see me? Her eyes were a dull blue, almost grey, they held so much pain that I could feel it in my chest.

 

“Why do I feel like this?” She asked.

 

“You were caught up in a fight and the jutsu that they used caused you to become temporarily blind and unable to feel anything you touch,” I informed her again.

 

“Is my sensei okay?”

 

“I’m not sure…”

 

“Hm.”

 

She seemed much calmer than the last time she woke up.

 

“So now what?” She asked turning her head to me.

 

“Pein and Konan went to a village to retrieve a scroll that may help you.”

 

“And what if it doesn’t?”

 

She had a good point and even I couldn’t reassure her that she would be back to normal.

 

“I don’t know,” I replied honestly.

 

She scoffed closing her eyes, and she didn’t move after that. Did she fall asleep?

 

I stood up, the chair scratching against the floor. The girl looked up, right at me, her eyes staring deeply into mine, I felt frozen under her stare.

 

“Where are you going?” She asked in monotone.

 

“I assumed you fell asleep again…” I trailed off.

 

“I’m tired of sleeping,” She mentioned as she sat up in her bed.

 

“Look kid, I don’t know how well you can feel and I know you can’t see, so it’s best for you to stay in bed.”

 

“Take me outside?”

 

I paused for a second. He eyes pleading me to take her out of these confined white walls. I couldn’t help it and I didn’t know what was wrong with me. Normally, I would have been stubborn enough to leave her here, but I felt sympathy for the child, after all, she tried to protect someone she cared about and she ended up this way because of it. I sighed and stepped close to her, picking her up in my arms, she’s very small for first hand to the Hokage, not to mention she’s young. I carried her to the back training grounds. I sat her down on the ground. She crossed her legs and closed her eyes. I watch her as she seemed to be meditating.

 

~Mika’s P.O.V.~

 

I would not be weak, I would overcome this, I am the youngest person to become an ANBU captain and I would not let anyone down! I sat there listening to the world around me. A small river to my left, a wind chime to my left, all I had to do was focus. There, right below my fingers was a lady bug… I couldn’t feel it but I knew it was there. I used my chakra to find everything, because everything around me had some sort of kinetic energy and I could feel it. Sensing where it was based on my position. Everything had energy. Including that dead bird about seven meters from me… I could feel the man’s slow breathing, I reached towards him, my eyes remaining shut, and I could feel what my body was doing, because I could sense the energy around it. The guy didn’t move, he stayed letting me reach for him. My fingers connecting with the tip of his nose, and my other hand reaching his cheek, and again he remained still.

 

“I refuse to be weak,” I started.

 

“I refuse to be incapacitated by something so petty. I am strong, and I will only get stronger.”

 

“It’s amazing,” He started the shock prevalent in his voice.

 

“You can’t see but you know exactly where my face is?”

 

I nodded. “What’s your name?” I asked curiously.

 

“Itachi… Uchiha,” he said cautiously.

 

I opened my eyes widely and looked up at him. I couldn’t tell if he was looking back at me, but I didn’t care. I started putting the pieces together.

 

 

“Tachi-san?”

 

OMG!!! DID YOU SEE THAT? HAHA! okay comment and vote and i'll try and get the next chapter out ASAP cause now I'm out of high school, i work, and soon college... how dumb -_- lol I wanted to be a child forever. OMG i have an idea for my own sasuke story i just gotta make sure i put everything together. hehe
