How can you see into my eyes like open doors?

Leading you down into my core where I've become so numb

Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold

Until you find it there and lead it back home...

Chapter Two - Bring Me To Life.

| April |

My head hurt greatly as I moaned and groaned miserably at the pain in my head. My eyes fluttered open, my vision a bit blurry but I gained my eyesight seconds later. I heard voices coming through everywhere, very unfamiliar voices to me. Narrowing my eyes at the sudden bright light, I groaned and moved the weight on my arm. I slowly sat up, my weight being felt on my left hand as I struggled to sat up. I rested my back on the solid, plainly painted wall as I began to look around the area.

My eyes beginning to get watery after a few seconds of staring, I quickly rubbed my eyes and a slow pace and my vision being blurry once again. Once my vision was gained, I quickly realized that I was in a very unfamiliar area. I softly tapped my head and once my hand met with my forehead, I felt a cast wrapped around it. I struggled to look down but something was stopping me, I gripped my hand on my neck and felt a neckbrace on my neck.

'Where am I and why am I in casts?' I thought to myself but quickly felt a tensing pain, making me groan once more.

Suddenly, a girl with brown hair glanced at me and quickly shouted, "Hey, April's awake!"

Then, some other people began to surround me. I gave each and every one of them a look before spotting a doctor behind them, I fixed myself from the bed and comfortably sat on the foam. I ran a hand through my forehead as it began to pound, I groaned and furiously rubbed my temples.

"Where the hell am I?!" I angrily asked, continuously treating my throbbing head.

"You're in a hospital, April." The brunette-haired girl spoke softly.

I glanced towards my left and saw a guy with dirty brown hair holding my hand, I felt confused and slowly took my hand away from his. He had this sad look on his face and I was starting to feel bad for him, I sighed deeply and glanced at the doctor.

"Why am I in here? And who are these people?" I asked, looking at them one-by-one.

The guy with dirty brown hair sadly sighed and spoke, "We both got into a horrible car accident and the two of us luckily survived. I only got minor bruises while you, well... You have amnesia and some other random shit."

"But, who are you guys? I don't know any of you." I asked, rubbing the back of my head.

"That's the effect of amnesia, you can't remember anything or anyone." The doctor spoke.

I groaned, "My head hurts like hell..."

"It's going to be alright, April. That headache of yours will fade sometime." The two-tone haired guy said with a smile.

"M-my names is what?"

"You're names April." The brunette haired girl repeated.

"April..." I mumbled, "Uh, can you people do me a favor?"

"Anything." They all spoke.

"Can you uh... Please leave me for awhile? I wanna do some thinking."

They all nodded and left the room shortly. Before the guy with dirty brown hair could leave, I called him and asked if he would please stay with me. He agreed and sat back on his seat, which was right next to my bed. I felt comfortable on my bed and let out a soft sigh.
