Third Person's POV
"My old friend!" Fratello exclaimed as he attempted to hug Arvyl, Llousander's and Zackaya's father, which ended up with him hugging air.
"Fratello."
"What's with that half-hearted reply?! We are friends for years. We have encountered many battles together! And yet you gave me a weak reply?! Sad. Really sad."
"If anyone saw their brave general acting like a wimpy kid, they would be too shocked to notice my weak reply." He answered and look down to his paperworks again.
"Too serious and too busy. Could you even spare time for me?" Fratello pouted.
"They are all damage reports Fratello. You dared to ask me to stop doing my paperworks when you are the culprit?" Tick marks appeared on his head.
"I deeply apologize Arvyl!" Fratello bowed 90 degrees.
"Whatever. So what do you want to ask?"
"I'm getting the vibe that you feel like that I only come here to make a request." He pouted.
"When did you ever came without asking anything? Care to elaborate?" His eyebrow rose.
"That was well-um well - um-" The general pondered deeply.
"Stop with the foolishness Fratello. So what do you want?" Arvyl sighed.
"Yuni, my wife." His tone seemed sullen all of a sudden.
"When?" Arvyl's tone became serious, referring to the incident.
"Last week. She was able to properly say goodbye to Xine and me."
"Considering that she was taken last week, how is your tone still joyful when you walked in?"
"Because I met an interesting child!" Fratello's mood turned 180 degrees.
"Child?" Arvyl urged Fratello to continue.
"You know, a black haired child with icy blue eyes. Man, she's really pretty. She also has a companion with her, someone named Midnight?"
Arvyl tensed up. Seeing how tense his friend became, Fratello suddenly got worried.
"Are you okay Arvyl?"
"Don't worry." He forced a smile.
"So anyways, she is a prodigy. I mean it. I've been wondering how suitable is she to my son."
Fratello did not notice that his surroundings became tenser.
"What. Did. You. Say?" Arvyl enunciated every word with hidden killing intent. Fratello, being in the battlefield for years allowed him to sense the hidden killing intent in his words.
"Her name is Divine Grace, in case you were asking." Fratello became nervous all of a sudden.
"Don't you dare lay a finger on her. DO. You. Understand?"
"Yes Sir!" He saluted.
'Sometimes, I really do wonder on why I am positioned on the battlefield when you are clearly suited to be there?' Fratello thought.
"So, want to play chess?" Arvyl offered dismissing the tense situation before.
"I won't lose!" Fratello exclaimed. Hearty laughter was heard that day on the quiet library, startling the residents of the mansion.

Zackaya's POV
I just woke up from a nap and had the sudden urge to visit the garden. I don't why, but I felt compelled to do so.
I tied my messy hair into a braid and started to walk out of the room.
When I reached the garden, I walked towards the white roses in which I have grow fond this year.
"The roses are full of thorns."
"I am quite well aware of that."
"But you still touch them."
"Because they reminded me of something."
"My name is Rione."
"Zackaya." I turned around and saw a black-haired boy with pastel green eyes.
"Are you the young miss?" He asked.
"It's up to your imagination. Who are you? I believe that I have not seen you here before."
"I am the son of a cook here. My mama bakes the tastiest treats!" He boasted.
"Oh really? Can I try some?" My eyes lit up in the mention of treats.
"No. Only the young miss is allowed to taste them!" He smiled smugly.
'I am the young miss aren't I?' I sweatdropped. "Then where can I taste them?"
"Mama always gives free treats at the park at afternoon. Want to go?"
"Yes!"
"Call me Master first!" He looked down on her.
"Master!"
"Very well, I shall accept you as my servant. Let us go servant!" Rione smirked haughtily.
"Yes Master!" Her eyes literally sparkled. It's not that she was willing to stoop down on her position to a commoner, it's just that what Zackaya loves most after sleep is sweets.

Third Person's POV
~Somewhere near the garden~
"How could he act as the Master of Hime!" (Hime is Japanese for Princess.)
"Maa maa calm down Grim." Midnight tried to comfort him by patting his back.
"Don't deny that you aren't angry too Midnight!" Grim shouted.
"Then would you like to experience my wrath head on?" Midnight creepily smiled.
Midnight is angry, it's not just that he never admits it. But if he does, Grim would always be on the short end of the stick.
"I am sorry Water Spirit! Please forgive me!" Grim kneeled.
"Hn, I wonder why Princess would bow down to a mere commoner when she is a noble?"
"She just loves sweets."
"Yeah."
"Sweets. Hey, I could use this blackmail her right?"
"If you wish to be trapped in a room full of lights, just tell me so."
"Please forgive me O Great Water Spirit!"
(A/N: I feel like I'm destroying Grim's reputation here.)
