Third Person's POV

"You have got to be kidding me." Midnight said.

"The church is shipping what?!" Caeli slammed her hands on the table. Ignis who was sitting beside her flinched.

"I can't believe that idiotic pope would send out his troops towards the forest." Grim crossed his arms and positioned his feet above the table.

"I can't believe that someone who even dare to raid the Ferrous forest." Verde bit his nails.

Aureole slammed his hands on the table. "Whether you believe it or not, he definitely is. He must have been pressured by the council. He is a rational person, that I can assure you."

"Our calculations are completely off the mark. Give or take two years, the prophecy will happen." Midnight said.

"Does that mean the apocalypse is coming earlier than we thought?" Ignis asked.

"Didn't you hear what he said, idiot?" Grim retorted. Ignis became silent. Caeli frowned at Grim.

"Looks like someone has anger issues." Verde commented. Grim stood up and grabbed Verde in his collar.

"What did you say?!"

"Grim." Midnight's firm voice loosened Grim's hold on Verde's collar. Verde smirked and Grim went back to his seat.

"Continue your fight later." Aureole frowned. "Something must have changed in this timeline. Did any incident happened around Zackaya that could have triggered this?" Aureole asked Midnight.

"I have no idea." Midnight shook his head. "I was not able to visit her for a month or so due to a mission."

"I know what happened to her." Grim answered annoyingly. "Llousander's illness worsened. She believes that the curse that was put on her by that stupid witch was the trigger."

Caeli bit her lip. It has been days when she noticed that Rione was acting rather strangely. He had no time at all to accompany her for afternoon tea and whenever she saw him, he would be off scurrying around to somewhere else.

"Ignis, any news about the witch?" Aureole turned to Ignis. Ignis could feel the piercing stare of all the guardians.

"I - uhm - uh-" He spoke nervously. "I found some leads and I was about to check on them." He couldn't tell them that he was nervous. He is a fire spirit, he should be daring or courageous. But this was something that he was not good at. At all.

"Why don't we just check it now?" Grim grumbled. "For all we know, Hime's life could be in danger."

"Rione could protect her." Caeli argued. She was disappointed that Grim did not see Rione's potential and his determination to save Zackaya.

"You have observed her for a long time Grim, and you know what she's capable of." Midnight 'kindly' reminded.

"Why did I waste my time on this stupid meeting? I should have been at my lab." Verde butted in. Aureole turned his sharp eyes on him. Verde involuntary gulped.

"This concerns the future that we all face. It will change. Damn that old geezer. Why is he only interfering now?" Aureole bit his nails.

"May I excuse myself?" Ignis raised his hand. "I have something very important to do."

Aureole sighed. "At this rate, we won't be able to do anything. Verde and Ignis, continue finding the leads on that witch. Midnight and Grim, continue monitoring the church activities. Caeli, continue monitoring the group. You know what to do. Meeting dismissed.
