You woke up the next morning between the sheets beside Murdoc, rolling over to take in the sight before you. It was adorable. He still had his bangs pushed back, he had taken off his shirt last night along with his pants and boots, leaving him in his black and red striped boxers.
You smiled, tracing your finger along his sharp jawline, feeling the small stubble beginning to regrow again.
"Do you always do this when the other one is asleep?" Murdoc's voice made you jumped, his opened his eyes with a playful smirk.
"No! I was just taking you in, getting a good look at you." You made up an excuse, turning to stare at some random object across the room.
"What? Scared I'll run off somewhere?" Murdoc asked, making you actually think. He could be up and gone and you'd never know.
"No, I just think you're pretty." You explained, standing up and stretching.
"Going somewhere?" Murdoc asked with a small pout.
"Uh, yeah, work." You giggled, starting to slide on your shoes when Murdoc let out a whine.
"Oh come on luv! Surely Pluto- I mean Marilyn will understand!" Murdoc pleaded, still trying to get Marilyn's new name down.
"I have to work, besides she texted me late last night telling me she had another surprise for us both." You raised your eyebrows at Murdoc, Murdoc returning the gesture.
"Surprise, you say? Well, I'm always up for one of those. Need any clothes? I'm sure Noodle could help ya out." Murdoc pointed towards the door.
You nodded, walking out the door and down the hall a bit till you stopped at the door with some Japanese, Buddhist, and Gorillaz stickers on it. You knocked softly, but hard enough for it to be heard.
A could seconds later Noodle opened the door and brightened to see you. "Ah, Y/N! Did Murdoc kick you out?" Noodle joked, making you blush and laugh with her. "No, it's just I'm almost late for my job and Murdoc said I can borrow some of your old clothes." You replied, playing with your h/l hair out of embarrassment.
"Of course! Come right on in." Noodle made room in front of the door enough so you could get it, you walked inside and almost audibly gasped. Her room was possibly the cleanest in the house, it was decked out in a lot of traditional Japanese artifacts, of course along with her instruments and many other things.
You heard a small meow and a head peek from around the corner, a skinny Bengal cat making it's way around the corner to greet you happily by rubbing it's side on your leg.
"Katsu!" Noodle picked up the cat, speaking 90 miles a minute in Japanese before putting her down with a small pat, the cat bounding off back into the other room.
"She's so precious." You smiled, Noodle chuckling. "She can be a demon at times. All of my clothes are over in the wardrobe, pick whatever you like." She pointed to the many draws in the corner, sitting back down on the mat lying on the floor. An incense still lit, you must've interrupted her meditating.
You nodded. "Thank you."
"No problem!" She did a small wave gesture.
You dug through some of Noodles clothes just to change into a black button up she had and some white pants, she let you keep them and even use some of her stuff in the bathroom. Only saying she knew you'd let her do the same if it was her. With another thank you, you made your way downstairs and into the kitchen.
Murdoc was already putting his coffee cup into the sink, 2D reading the newspaper as usual.
"Ready?" He asked, watching you attempting to put on your last shoe.
"Yup!" You smiled, tagging along out the door while saying a small goodbye to 2D.
"Uh, buh bye!" He called after you while you shut the door.
"Ah, falling for faceache now, are we?" Murdoc teased, nudging your shoulder. "I'm hurt."
"Oh can it Niccals." You laughed, getting in on the passenger seat of the car as Murdoc started the engine.

When you arrived at the coffee shop Marilyn was almost bursting with joy.
"Guess what, guess what, guess what!" She bounced over to the two of you.
"What?!!" You exclaimed, Marilyn grabbing your arms.
"I got us tickets back to Paris! Three nights!" She screamed, a couple heads turning to stare at the three of us.
"Oh my goodness, Marilyn you didn't!" You yelled back, hugging her. You always asked Marilyn what Paris was like, you had quite the interest in that place.
"When are we leaving?!"
"Tomorrow morning, baby!"
"I hate to be the black crow of the group," Murdoc suddenly spoke up, you both released your hug to stare at him worriedly, but he just rubbed the back of his neck nervously before saying "but I can't go, luvs."
The two of your shoulders drop, beginning to whine and beg. "Pleaseeeeee Murdoc!" You both said in unison, starting to throw opportunities and pleads left and right at him.
"I can't, I'm sorry. This new album has to be done by next month or we won't get the revenue we need to go on tour again." He frowned, trying not to stare you or Marilyn in the eyes.
"Take a break!" You said in unison again, clinging to his arms.
Murdoc frowned, turning around reluctantly. "I'm sorry, I can't go on this one."
You both looked at each other with the sad 'i wish he wasn't like this' look, but there was one thing the both of you knew. Murdoc's band came before anyone else.
"I'll see you when you get back." He waved without turning around, practically dragging himself out the door. You knew he wanted to go, but a lot of things held him back.
"He will never be satisfied." Marilyn sighed, turning around and walking back to her post in the coffee shop with a dull look.
You watched Murdoc's red Cadillac speed back off down the street, following him with your eyes until he peeled tires around a corner and disappeared.
"And I will always be helpless.."
