You would have thought that by the way Billy was acting that he would have stayed with me all day, right? Well, he didnt. Once we entered the school his arm removed itself from around my waist and he strutted off towards a small group of teenage boys who were now snickering and pointing at me.

I did not stick around long enough to hear what they were talking about, but by the way one of the boys gripped onto Billy's shoulder with a wicked smile on his lips it wasn't hard to guess.

Once i had made it to my locker I could hear the sound of squeaky shoes growing closer, shutting the small locker door i was greeted with a slightly annoyed looking Nancy.

"Did you come to school with Billy today?" I watched as she eyes me suspiciously, soon averting her eyes down to her worn sneakers.

I had to mentally ask myself if i was seeing this correctly, Nancy had just walked straight up to me and started to talk like nothing had happened yesterday. I had the urge to be angry, But it didn't hurt as bad now knowing that Billy and I had a plan in motion. So i smiled.

I cleared my throat once she had waved her hand back and forth in front of my face. "Uh, yeah. He gave me a ride. We hung outa little last night. He's a really nice guy i think."

Nancy simply nodded her head and turned on the heel of her foot to meet up with Steve, waiting by her locker a few down from my own.

Steve only looked at me for a split second, but i knew that face look anywhere, he was angry.

The school day soon wrapped up, the only thing remotely interesting that happened was some guy named James slipped in the middle of the hallway and tried to grab onto this girl's shirt, ripping it right down the middle.

"HEY! Wait!!"

I turned my head to see Bea running as fast as she could to catch up to my quick steps.

"What is it Bea? Wow, you cut your hair." I reached out to touch her now choppy hair that fell just above her shoulders.

She nodded briefly as she focused on catching her breath, "Is it true you came to school with Billy this morning? Are you going home with him? Is he taking you home? Are you two together.. or-"

I raised my hand to cut her off as the few people who were passing slowed down to try and get the gossip about Billy's latest fling.

I reached down to grab her hand before leading her towards the side of the school, watching as the students tried as quickly as they could to get away from the school. Apparently there is another party going on tonight.

I returned my focus to Bea who had her arms crossed over her maroon sweater, tapping her foot against the ground waiting for me to explain.

Bea lately has become one of my closest friends. We haven't been able to hangout much outside of school, but thats something i love about Bea. She is understanding about things, we don't have to be together every second to know that we are both there for each other.

"Billy and I.. well. We aren't friends but we aren't dating.. if you get what I'm saying." i moved the strap of my backpack up my shoulder, glancing over at Billy's blue car. he still wasn't around yet.

That's strange.

"ARE YOU GUYS SLEEPING TOGETHER?!" Bea's shrill voice echoed through the side of the school, making me slap her arm instantly, My eyes going wide as i looked around for anyone who might be listening.

Some people might think I'm being paranoid. But if you are a girl in high school then you know if anyone even remotely thinks you are doing anything with a guy or even if they just hear you like someone the rumors start that minute.
