Third Person POV
It didn't take too long for Rainbow Dash to find her friends sitting where they regularly sit.
"Hey girls!" She screamed in a cheerful, girly way as she put her tray of food on the table. Which to her friends was odd.
"You talked to Soarin after class didn't you darling?" Rarity asked with a smirk.
"Uh.. Maybe.." Rainbow said while giggling for no reason at all.
"Awwwww she did!!" Pinkie said while hugging her.
"Yeah, but I just feel like jelly every time I'm around him. And I really wished I would have the guts to tell him how I feel." She said with a hint of gloom in her tone.
"Don't worry Dashie." Fluttershy said with her hand on her shoulder. "You'll have a chance next time he's around." She said in a assured tone.
"Yeah! What Flutters said!" Pinkie Pie said while shoving a cupcake in her mouth.
"In fact, you have a chance right now!! See!?" She said pointing out the fact that Soarin was approaching their table.
Rainbow Dash's cheeks started to turn pink and she started to panic on the inside.
"Hey Rainbow." Soarin said as he took a seat.
"O-oh, h-hey Soarin" she said while starting to play with her skirt as her blushed intensified.
"You know..." Soarin started to say with a blush creeping up on his cheeks. "You look cute when you do that.." Soarin said with his blush now visible.
"Hee-hee! t-thanks..." She giggled while now playing with her hair. Her face now as red as a cherry.
"Anyways.. I was wondering if you had any plans after school?" Soarin asked.
"Actually ye-"
"Nope! She's available darling! Rarity said out cutting off Rainbow Dash.
"I am?" Rainbow asked with confusion.
"Yes you are. Remember?" Rarity said with a wink.
"I-i guess..." She said while fiddling with her skirt.
"In that case I was wondering if you'd like to go to sugercube corner with me after school?" He said while fiddling with the collar on his shirt, along with his cheeks flushing a bright shade of pink.
"O-oh, uh sure. I'd love to go out with you! N-ot in a boyfriend-girlfriend way, but just as friends.". She said while giggling like a fangirl.
"Ok then, see you at math Rainbow!" Soarin said in cheerful way, walking back to his table of friends.
"Congrats' Sugarcube. Ya' just got a date with yer ' crush." Applejack said, while patting her friend on the back.
"Yeah... Date... Hm-hm!" She giggled dreamily.
"Sounds like your dreaming of your crush. Aren't you darling? Rarity asked with a smirk.
"Uh... Maybe.." She said while fiddling with her hair.
Just then, the bell rang to signal the beginning of 5th period.
"Anyways see ya girls!" Rainbow said as she waved goodbye to her friends.
"Ciao' Rainbow darling!" Rarity replied.
"Good luck on your date Dashie!" Pinkie Pie said
"Thanks!"
With that, she headed to her math class. Dreaming of her "date" with Soarin Skies.
