"First thing you need: Acoustic guitar, not an electric guitar, or do you want me to teach you electric chords?" Soarin joked.
"No!" Rainbow laughed.
"Because if you do, I can't cause I don't know how to play the electric guitar."
"Nah, it's cool. It's just I don't have an acoustic with me so how will I learn? Dag, why didn't I think of that, I just wasted your time!" She yelled out a little embarrassed.
"It's OK Rainbow, I just remembered that I have a spare plastic acoustic with me I'm my backpack." Soarin said as he grabbed a plastic guitar out of his backpack and gave it to Rainbow.
"Oh, thanks." She said taking it from his hand.
"What Chord do you want first Rainbow?" Soarin asked.
"C Major please." She said as she balanced the guitar and pulled out a notebook to write the chords.
"All right, make sure you put your first finger on the B string on the second fret, second finger on the D string, and finally, third finger on the A string, both of those on the third fret. If you do it right, it'll sound like this."
Then Soarin strummed the guitar, and it made soothing tone.
"Wow, that's sounds nice." Rainbow Dash said amazed at he sound.
"Now you try."
"All right, I got this!" Rainbow Dash said confidently and strummed the guitar. ..
Only to hear it sound like if someone was banging a cardboard box... Rainbow blushed of embarrassment.
"That was, OK..." Soarin said trying to not hurt Rainbows feelings.
"You kidding me?! That was awful!" She said.
"It's OK Rainbow, just remember to hold down press the strings too hard. Just hold it down not too soft, but not too hard either."
"Oh, um..."
"Look I'll show you." Soarin said as he put his hand over Rainbows over the frets of the guitar. Rainbow blushed like a Strawberry and felt butterflies in her stomach.
"Look, like this." Soarin said moving her hands to strum the guitar.
"I think I'm getting the hang of this!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"You know what? I think you actually are!" Soarin said, impressed that Rainbow Dash was handling the guitar well.
Within 8 minutes, Rainbow had learned to play 4 more chords. Soarin remembered that Twilight told him that Rainbow was a fast learner. But he didn't think that she was this fast.
"Wow, you're a really fast learner Rainbow!" Soarin said as he got up.
Rainbow Blushed "Aw shucks, it's no big deal." Rainbow replied as she twirled her skirt.
"Just in time to, we got 5 minutes to get to class." As he the guitar back
"Then let's hit it Soar!" Rainbow Dash soad as they ran to class...
