I gasp inside, butterflies fluttering in me. I couldn't believe it!
"Will you go on a date with me Rainbow, tomorrow?"
I fiddle my hair, man how nice it sounds to go out with such a cutie.
"I-I would love to Soarin, I really would, just name the time and place."
"Really? You mean it?" He asks with a hopeful expression
"Well, how about 5:00 P.M. at Sugarcube Corner?"
"Sure, I'll be there!" I exclaimed.
"Mind If I take you home?" He asks as he offers me his hand.
"Well, Pinkie Pie has a sleepover, and it's only 8:30 P.M. I can go to hers."
"I insist, really."
"Well, ok then." We take each other's hands, in a friendly way, right? And walk to Pinkies.
We chatted so much as we walked that before I knew it, we were at her house.
Before we could knock the door, Pinkie opened the door.
"DASHIE YOU MADE IT! YAY!!" She yelled as she pulled me in for a hug.
"Thanks for walking with me Soarin, I'll be there tomorrow." I say as I begin to enter the house.
"No prob, see you tomorrow Rainbow!" He says as he waves goodbye at me. I blow him a quick kiss and he 'catches it' and winks. I giggle.
I had a funny feeling about tomorrow...
