Chapter 26

"Why are you being so affectionate towards me now" I said with a blank expression

Jc looked around his car for a little
He looked a little nervous

I bit my lip in the awkward silence

Then he finally looked at me

He cleared his throat then began looking outside

"Haley I like you a lot I have for awhile it started when I talked to you about sam a long time ago, your amazing in every way and I don't understand why sam doesn't see that" he said as he turned to look me in the eyes

As my eyes widened I smiled

If you haven't noticed I'm not the best at talking in awkward times

He blushed then started the Car and off we were

I wasn't sure where we were going but I didn't care but actually I would like it if I was Andrea, Jenn, and the rest of the guys

I miss them

After being in the hospital you feel like you haven't seen the people you'll bed in so long as if they don't remember who you are

I know they know who I am but I mean it's terrible knowing that you haven't seen your best friends in months

At least I get to hang out with Jc

I sighed and began to look out the window

I forgot what natured looked like

I really miss it

I forgot what it was like to be outside and have fun

I got really lonely

But now I can walk around

Even tho I have to be in the hospital it's good to know I have some freedom

My eyes began to get heavy as I slowly drifted away

Jc's (pov)

I started to laugh to myself when I watched her slowly drift off into a peaceful sleep

She's a great girl I hate to watch sam hurt her

He may still be to young to know what love is

But I hope he knows that Haley's gonna shatter the more he does it

I'm not being affectionate because of Sams rudeness

I'm being affectionate because I feel like I can finally show her what I've been feeling for so long

It does break my heart to watch her be with sam

But I'll always love her

I'll always be there for her

I started humming as I pulled up to the house smiling

I knew Haley would be so happy for what's about to happen

The car came to a complete stop

Then I glanced at Haley and smiled

Observing her

I had to wake her up so I put my hand on her shoulder and began to lightly shake it as Haley jumped and woke up

She looked around and began to show a huge bright smile I got out of the car and so did Haley

I was watching Haley

She started for a few minutes taking a deep breath she began to run

I got scared knowing she still wasn't the best at walking as I began running to her I noticed her feet were unsteady but she was running quite well
