NAGPALIPAT-LIPAT ANG TINGIN ni Hannes kina Grendelyn at Hermaine at pati na rin sa mga magulang nila. She couldn't believe her eyes. Kaya pala.

Kaya pala ano?

Kaya pala may nakita siya noon na litrato ng dalawang sanggol sa antique noong nalilinis siya. May nakalagay doon na G & H sa likod ng litrato. Pero hindi niya iyon pinansin dahil akala niya ay sila ni Grendelyn iyon.

So that means they're triplets? But why is she different from the two?

"We'll to explain this to everything about this, so I need you two to listen carefully," their mother said. Its her most serious tone now, biglang nawala ang pagiging soft nito kanina nang mayakap silang dalawa ni Grendelyn.

For a month, nawala ang mga ito para asikasuhin daw ang "business" ng mga ito sa ibang bansa na ang sabi ng mga ito ay matatagalan ng dalawang buwan. Tapos uuwi sila na hindi pala business ang totoong dahilan kundi hinanap ang kapatid nila.

What she saw in the attic was all she thought its her and Grendelyn. They were suppose to be three babies but why is it only the two of them?

"I'll listen carefully, ma. Because I think we deserve a nice and clean explanation," she said, using the tone her mother did.

"Hannes," saway ni Grendelyn sa mahinang boses pero hindi niya pinansin iyon.

"I know you're confused, darling. But please don't put this against me and your dad why we kept this a secret after a long time. Ayaw namin na masaktan kayo, lalo na ikaw."

"Ma, please say it on point," Grendelyn voice out again.

Their mother sigh and nod before holding her hand since she was next to her. "Hannes, anak, I love you as my own, b-but you're not from me."

"HANNES, ANAK, I love you so much as my own, b-but you're not from me."

Sukat na marinig ni Grendelyn iyon ay nanlaki ang mga mata niya. "Ma, are you s-serious?"

"Y-you can't be," Hannes said, tears started to fall as she did.

Their mother also burst to tears. She caress Hannes' face and keeps on repeating the word 'I'm sorry'. Grendelyn didn't even notice that she too, was so shocked of what she just heard.

"I'm so s-sorry, sweetheart, b-but it's the t-truth. Maniwala kayo, your father and I didn't want to reveal everything kasi ayaw namin na mag-alala pa kayo because we, w-we raised you both as if nothing had happened, b-but my urged to find Hermaine is not coming out of my system. Alam namin na kapag nagsinungaling kami magagalit kayo, b-but will take that risk just to see my other child. I'm so so sorry, mga anak ko, I screwed up, it's all my fault," their mother said, tears not stopping.

"T-this, t-this is not happening- Gren, p-please tell me I'm dreaming, w-were both dreaming. This is just a nightmare, please tell me!" Hannes said to Grendelyn and took her hand before raising her voice on her a little.

Wala siyang nagawa kundi ang yakapin ito. Pero kumawala ito sa yakap niya at saka dumiretso sa kwarto nila bago inilock iyon na hindi pinapansin ang tawag ng ina at ama nila.

Nanlulumong umupo si Grendelyn, hindi na alam ang gagawin. Napa-angat ang tingin niya nang maramdaman ang paghawak ng ina sa kamay niya.

"Gren, anak, I'm so sorry. I don't want to hurt you both, pero halos dalawapung taon kong hindi nakasama si Hermaine, at hindi ako papayag n-na hindi niyo siya makilala."

Tiningnan niya si Hermaine na nakatingin din sa kanya, hilam sa luha ang mga mata. Umiwas ito na tingin sa kanya bago muling tiningnan ang ina. She sigh deep and shook her head.
