Chapter 5 - The Falls and a Fall

A/N ~ sorry for not posting in awhile. I just want to thank you guys for your support and let you know that because of it, I'm going to continue writing this. This is a Kyoya and Haruhi special. Things are about to get spicy! ❤🍜 Enjoy!

×Kyoya's POV×

     "Thank you for having me over." I took a sip of the tea she made me.

     "Oh, it's no big deal." Haruhi explained. "Was there something you wanted to talk about?"

     "Yes, actually..." I trailed off thinking about what I actually came here for. "I'm worried," I finally made out.

     "About Tamaki?" she reasoned.

     "Well, I think he still has feelings for you... And that girl he kissed..." I trailed off once more, but I couldn't keep my anger in check. "You're the only one I can talk to about these things," and I broke down into tears.

     Haruhi comforted me. "I know, It's okay, Kyoya," she said as she ran her fingers through my hair to make me feel better. "I'm sure he loves you the most."

     "We should go somewhere, to make me feel better. Would you come?" I tried getting over it, wiping my tears away.

     "Like where?"

     "I actually have one place in mind." I stopped, remembering for a moment.

     And so we left.

*Narrator's POV*

     "Wow! It's like nothing I've ever seen!" Haruhi had to almost scream above the sounds of the water pouring off the rocky cliffs.

     "Should we jump in from the top?" Kyoya decided. "If you won't I will," It looked like Haruhi was debating. "Chicken." Kyoya added. And this seemed to set a fire in her.

     They climbed the rocks together, holding hands so the other won't slip. Once they had reached the top, they took one more look at the beautiful oasis down below.

     Haruhi looked down at the water and thought to herself, this is truly beautiful. Kyoya looked over to Haruhi, who had sparkles in her eyes, and unknowingly thought the same as she.

     Beautiful what can blossom from hard times. The cherry blossoms flourished from above and below their souls. Pink flower petals falling, flowing off and going every which way. Nothing anyone can just imagine in this early Autumn.

     Kyoya looked nostalgic. "I used to come here when life began to become too much for me. Or when my parents expected so much. This place has helped me a lot and it seems no one hardly knows about it..." he trailed, sorrowfully, thinking of the painful memories. "It's nice to have a place I can just be myself, you know?" He looked towards Haruhi and his eyes were watering again, but he still held a smile to his face.

     Haruhi thought for a moment. "I thought we came here to get your mind off of these sad things." She smiled.

     Kyoya continued to smile back. "So are you going to show me how much of a chicken you really are?" he smirked in delight, knowing she probably won't jump.

     She scoffed playfully, "psh... It's not that high..." She trailed as she took a far look down towards the water.

     "Come on, we can jump together," he smiled genuinely.

     She gulped, "okay..."

     "Ready?" He said at last. She gave a quick nod before she could change her mind. He took her hand and he counted to three. And they were gone into the water.

     When they resurfaced they found themselves under the water fall, closely together. He gave a host smile and put his hand under her to chin, as to be romantic.

     "Quit it," she gathered and pushed away his hand.

     "But mil' lady," he replied, acting out a English accent and they both giggled at this.

     "Although mil' lady," he continued with this joke, "I'm serious about this," and touched her soft lips with his. She didn't kiss him back, however, she didn't pull away either.

     "I-I thought you w-were in love with Tamaki," she stammered after breaking away from each other.

     "Well, I..." he looked away, already displeased with what he had done and what it meant. If it meant anything at all.

     "Wow," she finally said. "I'm leaving," she scoffed harshly, obviously disgusted and surprised. She climbed out of the pool and walked to Kyoya's limo; which would undoubtedly take her home.

     Kyoya stayed there under the falls a little bit longer and listened to the sounds of water hitting water. What would he do now?
