The twins were lying in their striped pajamas getting ready for bed. "I'm not happy anymore," Kaoru said.
"What do you mean?" Hikaru jumped up into a sitting position, deeply concerned.
"Exactly what I said. Hikaru, I love you. But I can't do this anymore."
"You mean...?" Hikaru questioned.
"You love Haruhi."
"What do you mean? I love you. I've always loved you. " Hikaru tried to explain.
"You're only saying that because The King got to her first. " He sat up as well so they could see each other better.
"That's not true. I liked her but I love you."
"Then please, love me..."
