Today is the ball that I didn't know we were having till this morning. "Our guest are arriving." Rebekah says appearing at the door way. She's in a beautiful green dress, and I'm wearing a strapless, poofy dress. It is silver at the top, but fades in to a dark, sea blue. I saw it and feel in love with it, so I got it.

I stand on the staircase along with my father, grandmother, aunt, and my three uncles. I'm in between dad and Uncle Kol. Uncle Elijah gives a boring speech, then allows us to grab a dance partner.

A hand grabs mine, and I see the man who has stolen my heart once again. "May I have this dance, Ms. Gilbert?" He asks kissing my knuckles. "It would be my pleasure." I say curtsying. He smiles and pulls me with him.

Damon twirls me, and I land in dads arms. "Look beautiful, Ara." He says and I smile. "Thanks, dad. Not just for the compliment, but also for Damon. I know you hate him, but you are willing to let him be for me. Thank you, dad. You've been a better father in the past couple of months then that horrible man I called father was. Thank you, dad! I love you!" I say. I see a small tear fall down his cheek, and I kiss his cheek as he spins me to another person.

I land in Uncle Finns arms, and he smiles down at me. "You have intrigued me. I do not like what my siblings and I have become, but you seem to be different. I am glad I have gotten to meet you." He says and I smile. "Well thank you, Uncle Finn. I'm glad I got to meet you as well. I know you and your siblings are not pleased with dad, but in my eyes, he is amazing. Finding out you have a completely different dad then the one that raised you and abused you for twenty-four years, is the best thing ever. I love my father." I say and he looks at me shocked.

I walk into the boarding house, eager to talk to Damon, but I'm met with two bodies pressed against each other on the wall. One being Damon, the other Aunt Rebekah. It seems my entrance has one unnoticed, so I just walk back out.

I get in to my car and manage to buckle and start it through the tears. I start crying harshly and I start to drive.

My tears block my vision as I drive. I start swerving, and I try to gain control, but I swerve to far. Turns out, I was on a bridge. The car lands in the water, and I try my best to get out. My dress gets stuck, and my seatbelt won't come off. I thrash and move, but it doesn't work.

I watch as the world fades from my view, and I take one last breath.
