A/N: real quick before this chapter I must ask: how dark (and I do mean dark) do you want Camila's backstory to be.

Cos this shit is building and I have two ideas: one dark and possibly triggering to some people or just her ex being a general dick.

I just wanna know how dark you lot think suits this fic. Also LOVING all your feedback. Super glad I made this fic :)

"Dinah, Dinah, Dinah, Dinah!"

Camila came running into Dinah's apartment, letting the door slam against the wall as she fast walked towards the living room.

"What!" Dinah yelled. Camila stood in front of her, teeth worrying her lips and her wringing her hands as she shifted her weight from foot to foot.

"Chanch... what's wrong?" Dinah said slowly, standing up and stopping Camila from messing with her hands.

"Something happened last night." Camila replied quietly. Dinah raised her eyebrow and pulled Camila to sit back on the sofa with her.

"What's up?" Dinah prompted.

"You know I went out last night?" Dinah nodded. "Well Lauren showed up. Looking fucking hot. Like holy balls I've never seen someone look so good before." Camila rambled and started looking more and more increasingly worried. Dinah raised her eyebrows at Camila's admission.

"Go on." Dinah said with a smirk.

"So I took a girl home, Taylor, super hot, super nice." Camila continued. "But something happened..." Camila winced. Dinah sat up straighter.

"What?"

"I couldn't stop thinking about Lauren." Camila mumbled. Dinah laughed once, loud and sudden before seeing the guilty look on Camila's face.

"Wait, what?" Dinah asked, an incredulous look on her face.

"Well you know, we were in the middle of it all but I just... I couldn't help but wish it was Lauren." Camila muttered.

"Woah. Mila... that's, well that's never happened." Dinah said quietly. Camila groaned and flopped back onto the sofa.

"I knowwww. It's crazy. But she just... I dunno. If I wasn't so hellbent on remaining single, I'd think I liked her or something." Camila laughed, trailing off the longer she laughed.

"Do... you, you know, like her?" Dinah asked slowly, not to scare Camila off into a defense.

"Nah. I mean she'll be a great friend. She's hot, I mean I have eyes. But emotions? Nah... no? Doubtful." Camila said, tucking her hands behind her head and staring up at the ceiling.

And so the pair decided into silence. Dinah let Camila think while she watched crappy daytime TV. Dinah's ceiling had always been the best way for Camila to think; just lying on the sofa, her feet in Dinah's lap and her eyes fixed on the bland white ceiling. It was comforting. Let Camila organise her thoughts. It was here on this very sofa she decided to break up with her ex.

"You think I'm ready China?" Camila asked.

"What do you mean?" Dinah asked gently.

"Ready for another relationship." Camila clarified. "I mean it's been three years." Dinah was quiet for a few moments.

"That sort of thing lingers Mila." Dinah said quietly. Camila sighed.

"You'd think I'd be over it by now." Camila huffed. "It was only a few times."
