chapter 22

Jordan's POV****

June and I walk slowly down the street with no words being said. After a few minutes June speaks up "so she's pregnant. The girl that grew up with us in middle school and high school". "Well technically I have known her since elementary" I say smiling looking at the ground. I still remember running around the playground jumping out of swings, chasing boys and tether ball. I remember falling on the wood chips but always having a hand to help me up. She has helped me through so much and now she's actually pregnant. It's hard to believe that the little girl I grew up with is now becoming a mother. June and I walk silently the rest of the way home. We walk up to the house and see Ryan and Ty outside talking. June and I come a little closer as their heads turn towards us. They get up and walk to us slowly as if something was on their mind. "What's wrong with Katherine?" Ty asks pulling me into a hug. "Yeah something's up if both of you were needed for Katherine" Ryan says walking up behind Ty. "Let's just put it this way. June and I severely want to kill Mitch right now" I say laughing. "Oh come on she cant be pregnant or anything" Ryan says laughing as June and I look at him. He immediately catches on and stops laughing looking at us. "That's it isn't it?" Ty whispers into my ear. I nod feeling tears beginning to stream down my face. She's not the little girl I grew up with anymore. "Shhh" Ty coos into my ear while rubbing circles on my back. I pull away and take a deep breath. "I'm good" I say reassuring myself wiping away any leftover tears. Ty grabs my hand and leads me into the house with June and Ryan following.

Katherine's POV****

I sit next to Mitch watching him play hunger games with Jerome. "Are you recording honey?"  I ask as he turns to look at me. "Nope just playing for fun" He says smiling. I nod and continue to watch him laughing every now and then. "What are you laughing at hmm?" Jerome asks from the other side of the skype call. "Your mistakes" I say laughing as he falls into a pit of lava. "NO!" Jerome screams making Mitch and I laugh even harder. After about ten more minutes Mitch wins. "Good job honey" I say kissing him on the cheek. He blushes making me smile. He logs off his computer and spins his chair around to face me and grabs my hands. "I love you" he says putting his hand on my stomach making me smile.

Ty's POV****

I sit on the couch while Jordan puts a movie into the DVD player. She sits next to me while I put my arm around her holding her close. She begins to shake as I look at her curiously. "Are you okay?" I ask as she turns to me. "Yes just look outside" she answers pointing to the window by the front door. I look over and see that rain is pouring down. Thunder bangs all around us while light flashes across the sky."It'll be over soon honey". Suddenly the door blows open which make Jordan and I jump. Adam randomly jumps through the door soaking wet with water guns in his hands. He darts over to us and begins shooting us making Jordan scream. I launch at Adam trying to grab the guns but he continues spraying me. "COME AT ME BRO!" Adam yells before running out our front door. "Um? What just happened?" I ask looking at Jordan as she starts to laugh on the floor. I run into the kitchen and grab a hand towel. I wipe off my arms and my face before returning to Jordan and helping her. Oh Adam. Wait for the paybacks that your going to be getting soon. "I take that you want to get Adam back. At least that's what your expression is saying" Jordan says laughing. I nod grabbing a blanket and wrapping it around us before sitting back on the couch.
