' sometimes you don't expect the worst things to happen to you when it's such an amazing day but you can never get that lucky. Or at least not when you are me that is. we have to realize that life has its mysterious ways of showing love toward you and what others don't realize is that love is the only thing that keeps you alive. '

Augustine was sat on the towel while watching her friends play around on the beach. Harper, Josh, and Isabella with her boyfriend were all playing football in the heated sand while the Australian sat underneath an umbrella while thinking deeply. Her figure had stood up and made its way toward her friends with a smirk of her own.

"Who's up for swimming?" Her tone raised slightly above normal pitch because of the waves crashing into rocks nearby. Isabella had gave Augustine a slight smile while Josh and Harper were messing around in the water now; Isabella's boyfriend was just admiring the view around him and instantly Isabella sighed.

"Listen, we're here because we think you deserve to have an amazing day. No sad thoughts, sweetcheeks. Now go enjoy the water." She spoke happily while giving her backside a playful slap. Augustine snickered before jogging off toward the water. While she was in the water, enjoying the cool waves against her warm skin; her phone had rang in her bag notifying Isabella of it.

The dark-haired vixen had picked it up with a small hello only for her face to fall, "Yeah. Uh-huh, I'll let her know. Thank you." She quietly spoke before hanging up; glancing over her shoulder at Augustine who was currently laughing with Harper. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she called Augustine back over, unfortunately, everyone followed with her.

Coming back to Isabella with a confused expression, she took her phone from her while scanning the number. "Who called, Iz?" She asked her with curiousness in her eyes only for Isabella to look at the others with saddened eyes. "You should really go somewhere private and call them back, Auggy. It'd be best."

Augustine had decided to go somewhere more private; back to the spot she was previously laying on; dialing the unknown number back. "Hello?"

"Augustine Claire? We had called to let you know that your grandmother had passed away. We know you and she weren't as close but she had stated you would get most of her inheritance" Augustine had narrowed her brown eyes before sighing heavily before nodding. "Of course. Do I need to come in and sign anything?"

After getting off the phone with them; she told her friends she had to go head off to the police station. When she had gotten there; she was now dressed in a pair of jeans, Chuck Taylors and a plain t-shirt. Although she had run straight into her dad's chest before frowning; "Dad?"

Her father and she had to go over some papers together and by the time she had gotten out of the police station, it was late. Pulling her sweater over her head; she decided to walk back to the bench her and holden had actually talked upon their issues.

On the bench sat the familiar male no other as Holden who himself had looked a mess just like she was. "Back to square one." Augustine had spoken softly while pulling her sweater sleeves to hide her hands. Holden's dark eyes had met Augustine's own before shaking his head. His heart broke at the thought of how cold he was to her.  Augustine had cleared her throat while leaning her head on his shoulder with a shrug.  "It's just a full circle."

"I'm sorry Augustine."

"Me too, Holden. Me too."
