Alex's POV
"Mommy? Book?" Lea asked me to read her a book. I nodded my head and grabbed her hand to walk towards the shelf of books we had.
"Which book?" I said, she pointed at a Dr. Seuss book.
"Green Eggs and Ham, a classic." I smiled at her. Her eyes gleamed and she took me towards the small sofa in her room.
"Ready?," I said, she nodded her head and I began to read, "I am Sam, I am Sam, Sam I am." I said in a perky voice.
"That Sam-I-am! That Sam-I-am! I do not like that Sam-I-am!" I read in a low voice, making Lea giggle.
"Do you like green eggs and ham?" We said together, I looked at Lea and she blushed.
"You can read? Or did we just read this book a lot of times for you to remember it?" I questioned her, she shrugged and looked at the book.
"I do not like them Sam-I-am," Lea said in a low voice, "I do not like green eggs and ham." I finished off.
"You can read! A little bit at the least! Lea you are growing up so fast!" I said happily, and continued reading her the book. She soon fell asleep on my lap and I put her to bed.
"Gabe! Guess what!" I yelled into the phone.
"W-Wha..?" Gabe said sleepily, realizing that in New York it was 10pm.
"Sorry for waking you! But, I was reading Lea Green Eggs and Ham, and she began reading along with me! Like, she read the story!" I shrieked.
"Wow! Really? She's reading at 4!" Gabe said excitedly.
"I know! She's reading a bit, but she's smart!" I replied, "I don't want to intrude in your sleep before a show, so good night!" I said turning off the phone call. Lea is the one who isn't really the hardest to handle when it comes to her dad leaving.
Ysabel's POV
"Why does Lexi get to go with the guys for the rest of the tour and not any of our kids?" I said annoyed.
"She is the most hardest to handle." Gabby admitted.
"I know, but it isn't really fair. But they can't have all their kids." I said.
"Did you put Jordyn down?" Leslie asked Gabby.
"Yup, she's sleeping now, hopefully." Gabby replied checking her phone.
Alex came running down her stairs and whisper yelling excitedly.
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Guess what just happened with Lea!" Alex yelled silently.
"What?" Tina said curiously.
"I was reading a Dr. Seuss book, and she read along! Like she said the words without me saying them first!" Alex said.
"That's great! She read!" I shrieked.
"Has Lea been much trouble to you?" Tina asked Alex, and Alex shook her head.
"Lea is the most calmest when her dad isn't here." Alex said sitting down next to Leslie.
"I wish Jacob was like that." Tina implied.
"Lexi always antagonized me, but Cole suggested that she stay with him. I don't think he can handle her." Leslie admitted.
"When do you think Cole is going to give her back to you?" Alex asked, Leslie shrugged.
"To be honest, four days, maybe five." Leslie chuckled.
"Riley can be a pain. But he isn't so hard to take care of when his dad isn't here." I said.
"Out of all of them, I think Lexi can't spend a day without Cole." Gabby said.
"Jacob is a close second. He is so hard to handle, considering the fact that he bites me everyday. He's like a little vampire." Tina said.
"Jordyn is in between, I don't think she is that bad." Gabby said.
We went to sleep after that.
Cole's POV
| Next Morning |
"Lexi, we're about to perform, so just stay here with Grammy Jill when we go on the stage okay?" I told Lexi.
"Okay daddy. What song you sing?" Lexi asked.
"We're singing our old songs, Go, Zero Gravity, Everything About You, and more." I told her.
We went onto stage and sang Me and This Girl.
"Thank you! Now this song is a old one too, it has the word Go in it." Dana said into the microphone.
"Ready on your mark set go!" We all yelled at the same time with the audience before the song came on.
"Lexi! Stop!" I yelled as I saw her run towards me.
