Leslie's POV
I'm still a little pissed at Cole. Today Cole was leaving for his 2 month tour with the guys, he's probably leaving the house to go to the airport right now, and I'm here with Lexi and my parents.
"But mommy I wanna see daddy!" Lexi yelled, she's been like this ever since we got here.
"Honey, I'm sorry but we can't," I told her, of course she makes a face, the puppy face one.
"Leslie, please take Lexi to see Cole, I know you're still mad at him, but you can't stay mad at him forever." my mom told me, I look over at her.
"Your mom is right, she's always right," my dad said
"You don't understand he's kind of leaving us, I don't want Lexi to feel like she isn't getting to know her dad." I tell them but they both shake their heads and laugh.
"Sweetie we love you but she will miss her dad even more if she can't say goodbye to him, especially since he's gonna be on tour for 2 months, Lexi will miss that." my mom said, I shrug she does have a point but I still don't know.
"I remember when you mom and I use to fight like this, she'll get mad at me all the time, but we always found a reason not to be mad and solve our problems together." my dad said
"Wow dad thanks for the little throw back, but I'm gonna stop you right there before you go into details." I said.
"You still have that little attitude of yours, you started to have that attitude when you were 10 years old, you scared your first boyfriend with that when you were 13 I love that, then you met Cole when you were 16 he wasn't afraid of your attitude he loves it, Cole loves everything about you, he cared about you, I knew he was the right man for my daughter." my dad went on and on talking about Cole, I smiled when he talk about our memories, all our break ups, and all our beautiful moments.
"Thanks dad but please stop before I start crying a river in the house," both my parents laugh
"Okay I guess I'll just tell them to your mom," I laughed
"That's fine with me" I said.
"Leslie what's your plan?" my mom ask me.
"My plan is Lexi and I are gonna go to the airport, see Cole, tell him we love him, and say goodbye before he leaves." I said, my parents smiled
"I'm proud of my girl," my mom said
"I am too" my dad agreed, I go get my purse, I put money in there, I fix my hair and left it down. I have to go upstairs and tell Lexi, I go upstairs and knock on the bedroom door she was in, she wouldn't open it so I walk in and she gave me a cold stare. Wow she is really mad at me, she gets up and goes under the bed. I bend down.
"Lexi, sweetie I know your mad at me, but mommy is really sorry," I tell her "And mommy decided to go to the airport to see daddy!" Lexi smiled, she came out under the bed and hug me.
"Yay! Let go!" Lexi said, I smiled. We both go downstairs, I grab my keys and we went out the door
We got to the airport, we entered really fast, I looked around I finally saw Cole, he was talking to Gabe, the rest of the boys and girls are there too with their kids, the only things missing is Lexi and I.
"Cole!" I yelled, Cole turn my way, he smiled
"Daddy!" Lexi yelled, we run up to him.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to get mad or leave, I'm so stupid." I said I started to cry a little
"No I understand why you got mad if I were you I would have done the same" Cole said he started to cry, Lexi was still hugging his leg
"Cole I don't want Lexi to feel like she never knew her dad," I tell him
"I don't either, but I can't control my job." Cole says stlll crying, I nod crying a little
"Daddy Ima miss you," Lexi said, Cole bends down to her
"Daddy is gonna miss you too, but please be a good girl for mommy, daddy is gonna want you to behave and-" Cole stop he couldn't go on he hug Lexi he started to cry even more and Lexi did too, then I started to cry, the others watch they came to us and started to cry too. We all look at each other, we go into a big group hug. I hear Cole whisper 'I'm gonna miss you and Lexi' this was a hard moment for all of us, but we'll stay strong
