Chapter 28

Gabby's POV

"Jordyn, you ready for the surprise birthday party for Jacob?" I ask her, and she smiles brightly.

"I'm so excited! When we leave?" She questioned me, and I looked at the time.

"Now." I say. I grab her hand and we walk up to the car. I buckle her seatbelt in for her and I go start the car and drive.

"Red light!" Jordyn shouted, I chuckled.

"Stop mommy!" She yelled again. And I stopped, but to late. I was in the middle of a complete circle of chaos.

"Oh shit." I spit out of my mouth. Trying to find my way out of the chaotic circle of cars surrounding me.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Jordyn yells terrified, struggling to get out of her car seat.

"Jordyn, stay put! Please! It'll be okay I prom-" I tell her. Before everything goes black.

"Gabby, gabby? Gabby!" I hear someone yell, "Doctor! She's awake! She's awake!" He yells, holding tightly to my sore hand.

I open my eyes and a bright light shines directly into my eyes, blinding me for a few seconds.

"Gabby?" Dana calls my name, tears streaming down his face. I pull my upper body up and sit on the hospital bed. But collapse back to lying down out of all the sudden hurtful pain rushing though my leg.

"What happened?" I question, waiting for a answer.

"You got into a pretty bad car accident. But you don't have anything to serious. You have bruises on your body, mostly around your hands considering the fact that your hands were still on the steering wheel when we found you. You have a fractured bone in your leg, but it's a closed one. Your tibia. So we will be putting you in immediate surgery." The doctor said, and I've been brought to a surgery room. And I fall into a deep sleep.

Dana's POV

"I should've been there! I would of been there if we weren't going to surprise them!" I yell and bite my fingernails. Confused and horrified of what has happened to Gabby.

"Dana, she'll be fine." David tries to calm me down, but I move away.

"No, David! If you weren't trying to make us all surprise everyone of us being here, Gabby would of never been hurt, I would of been there, driving and knowing to stop at that red light!" I shout, tears streaming down my face.

"Dana! And you're saying this is my fault?!" David yells at me.

"Yes! I am saying this is your fault! 100% your damn fault! We would of been eating Marvel designed cake right now if it wasn't for you holding us back to not see our families!" I shout at him, pacing back and forth.

"Dana! Calm down! You're making a scene!" Gabe tells me.

"Do you think I care about myself making a scene?! My wife is injured! She's been taken into immediate surgery! Jordyn isn't even awake yet! And you're telling me to calm down?! I can't calm down!" I yell, shaking my head.

"With all you're yelling I think you are actually going to wake up Jordyn!" Cole screams.

"None of you care do you?!" I yell, storming out of the waiting room and into the hallway.

"Dana, trust me, we care." Tina follows me, holding both of my hands together into a ball with hers over them. She pulls me into a hug and I sob quietly onto her shoulder.

I walk into the waiting room with her and the doctor turns quickly to me, making the whole rest of the gang stand up.

"Jordyn has broken ulna. She'll be needing a arm cast. She's currently awake and crying. You can go see her." The doctor says, and I walk out with the rest following behind before the doctor said, "Family first." And I walk to the room alone.

"Jordyn?" I call her name and sit by her on the hospital bed.

"Daddy? My arm hurts." Jordyn says, not moving.

"I know, I know. We have to have a arm cast be put onto you." I tell her, and she nods her head.

"Can I get it in purple?" She asks me, and I smile.

"Of course. We'll get a purple arm cast for you."

"How's mommy?" She questions.

"She's okay. Mommy is in surgery right now, fixing her leg." I told her, and she smiles.

"Okay, I want matching casts with mommy!" Jordyn yells, excited for her own injury.

"I don't know if mommy gets even color cast."

"We still twins! We both hurt!" Jordyn cheered and then screamed out of the sudden pain.

Tina's POV

"You okay?" I ask Gabby and she nods her head.

We're at Dana's home and Gabby and Jordyn are fine.

"Let's celebrate Jacob's birthday!" Jordyn exclaimed happily, and I took out the cake surprisingly.

"Marvel cake!" Jacob yelled happily, hoping into David's arms.

"Happy Birthday Jacob!" I smiled and hug him tightly.

"First slice goes to Jordyn and Gabby!" Jacob yelled.

"Jacob it's supposed to be your slice." Gabby tells him and he shrugs.

"I want you both have it." Jacob smiled and cut the slice with David.

oh no! Jordyn and gabby got into a car accident!

But they're fine! And Jacob's birthday was interrupted!
