I woke up, with my head resting on Joe’s shoulder. Well that isn’t the first time that’s happened. Luckily this time it wasn’t in an uncomfortable car but on my super cozy hotel bed. Oh god. I was lying in bed with Joe.

Maybe I should really start thinking about my feelings for Joe. I mean, it’s been easy to just get over all the mocking when we don’t actually see each other that much. But being in this situation for a bit is going to be intense. I’m going to be seeing him. A lot. And he’s currently in my bed.

One of his arms was gently wrapped around my waist and I could feel him lightly breathing on my ear. This wasn’t helping anything. How could I think straight let alone think about serious topics like my feelings? Oh god his breath was tickling my ear.

At that moment I swear that instead of just a breath against my ear I could hear soft groaning noises coming from Joe. Well that’s not fair at all. Joe cuddling me and making moaning sounds? He’s supposed to just be my friend, I can’t get flustered by things like this.

His soft groans continued. And before I could start thinking about why he was making those in his sleep (oh god) I realise I had to do something. He had to stop being so close and hot and he had to wake up.  I didn’t know what I’d do otherwise. I took a deep breath and then lightly kicked my leg to the side to hit his. I quickly closed my eyes. I heard Joe gasp and jumped. I took one last deep breath to make sure I’d calmed down and slowly opened my eyes as if I’d only just woken up.

‘Everything alright?’ I looked at him innocently.

He quickly turned to me and then looked away again. ‘Yeah. Of course. I just...’

Now he was all flustered. His hair was all over the place and he was definitely blushing.

How could he go from insanely sexy to incredibly adorable in one second flat? Well in the time it took to me to kick him anyway. So less than a second. Not that I should feel guilty because it totally had to be done.

I leant over to the bed side table and checked the time on my phone

‘Shit, good thing you woke me up.’ Good thing I kicked him when I did more like 'We need to go and meet up with the others in like five minutes!’

‘What? Fuck. Okay.’ He looked down at the clothes he was still wearing from yesterday because we never changed into PJs. ‘We don’t have time to change do we?’

‘Unless we want to feel the wrath of a hungry Tyler having to wait for us. No’ We both groaned and started to get out of bed. Which was a shame because I was really comfy.
