Chapter 36: Time For a Change

"Grandpa whea's aunty Jada?" Jasmine ask while she sat in her grandfather's lap.

"She'll be here in a minute baby." he said.

"Papa look what Nasir doing." Reagan pointed at Nasir who was talking to a lady.

"Jesus help me." Malcom mumbled. "Nasir!" he called and he ran over to him.

"Yes grandpa?"

"Don't move from here. You can't be talking to strangers like that." he scolded.

"I'm gonna tell mom when i see her." Natalia said.

"You talk too much sometimes." Nasir sat beside her.

"I do no-"

"Please! Don't argue right now." Malcom said.

"Aunty's here." Jacion said and they cheered.

Jada and Dice entered the airport and looked for her father.

"There they are." Dice pointed.

He rolled her luggage towards where her father was and they greeted them while the kids hug on their legs. Dice checked in Jada and they waited until their flight was ready.

"I'll see you when you get back and call me when you land." he told her while holding onto her waist.

"Okay pooh bear. I love you."

"I love you more dumpling puff." he said and she laughed and kissed his lips then they hugged.

"Be safe darling and make sure they stay together." her father told her.

"Okay daddy."

"You excited to see Jaimee aren't ya?"

"Very." she grinned. "It's been so long."

"Alright. Call me when you land." he hugged her.

"Okay." she said and the two left while her and the kids were in the boarding line.

"Aunty is it gonna be fun?" Natalia ask.

"Yes baby." she smiled. "Okay listen up." she knelt down and they surrounded her.

"Yes?"

"If you are all on y'all best behavior, you get sweeties okay?"

"Yes aunty." they said.

"Good now Reagan hold Natalia's hand, Nasir hold Jacion's and Jasmine give me your hand." she said and they followed instructions.

They went down the hallway where the pilots greeted them and they found their seats Jada made sure they were strapped in and gave them snacks before sitting down for the two hour flight.

Edward walked in Jaimee's room after she was dressed from taking a shower.

"What are you doing?" he sat on her bed.

"I'm gonna finish fixing the rooms then head off to the airport." she said while fixing her hair.

"Okay." he nodded. "I think you should pray."

"What?" she chuckled and looked at him through her mirror.

"I said i think you should pray. With all this bullshit you did, you should pray that God will make a better way for you."

"Ed what are you talking about?" she turned and look at him.

"Jaimee, do you really think that the situation is gonna just fly down the drain like that? You think all of this that you're doing is a blessing? Not seeing your children and family in almost 4 years?"
