The next day, Keyeion was  just arriving back from off the road. Jacion was  at school and Jaimee was  in her room. The two haven't spoke last night because Jaimee didn't want to.

Keyeion sighed in frustration and went inside the house after hearing his phone ring. He answered it without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Mr. Menefee. Lieutenant Murdock speaking. I am calling to inform you of the sudden recruitment that has been put in place for you on the second day of June. You are advised to attend the session in the city's conventional center at six am sharp. If your late, consider your job cancelled." He spoke through the phone.

"Thank you sir." Keyeion said before the lieutenant hung up.

He walked up to their room and over to their bed. He sat next to Jaimee whose eyes was close as she sniffled away. Keyeion was always the type of guy to comfort their loved ones at the worst stage of their life. He know how to handle it.

He rubbed her back, soothing her. He could tell that she was truly upset because she wasn't one to cry. She either cry when she's happy or is frustrated over something she can't get done. Keyeion knows her like the back of his hand and knew what she was capable of. Hence why he loved her like he was suppose to.

"Babe stop crying." He said but she didn't answer. Instead she open her eyes and stared at him. "Look, I know this isn't what you wanted babe, but if you could just come to terms and understanding with me. I know this can work." He gently brushed the hair from her face.

"How?" She whispered.

"Okay how about this. I promise I'll come back home after serving my time."

"That's not enough key." She sniffled.

"How bout I call you and Jacion every night."

She look at him with a satisfied. "Okay."

He let out a breath. "You wanna play games with me?" He ask. Keyeion knew Jaimee loved to play games with him became she loved challenges, especially when he was always boasting about how she could never win.

"Okay." She smiled and got up. He held her hands and they both walk downstairs.

He plugged up the game and handed her the controller while it loaded.

"Babe." Jaimee said.

"Yes honey." He leaned back and put his arms around her shoulder.

"I wanna start working out."

He looked at her seeing that she was serious. "Babe are you sure cause I mean.... I love you like this."

"Keyeion I'm positive. I wanna lose weight. I wanna start working out. This will actually be my goal when you're gone." She said and he smiled.

"Alright. Do you wanna have a session with me before I leave?"

"Yes." She smiled. He kissed her lips and they began playing games.

Later in the evening, Keyeion had to force Jaimee out the house to get some natural air rather than the one from the air conditioner.

He drove to his son's day care and picked him up.

They all spoke while Keyeion drove to the gym in his community.

"Babe where we going?"

"The gym."

"I thought we were gonna wait a little."

"Why wait when we can do it now? We don't have anything to do."
