Chapter 19: Assassination

Keyeion stood on the sidewalk and inhaled the scent of his city.

"It's good to be home." he breathed out.

Keyeion had just landed in Atlanta and it was 2pm so it wasn't dark yet. He sat on a bench near by the arrival area and looked over the file the Lieutenant gave him.

"Are you Keyeion?" a guy ask.

"Uhm... Yeah is th-"

The guy sat the duffle bag at his feet and walked away.

"Yeah sure. Have a nice day too." he spoke sarcastically.

After reading the file, he put it in his bag and slightly open the duffle back where he saw an envelope. Taking it out, there was money piled up. His eyes widen and he open up the bag some more seeing hella cash.

"Oh shit." he semi yelled and quickly locked it back up.

He looked around and open the envelope where it held a piece of paper.

He knew where this came from so it didn't phase him.

He heard a horn and looked up. Keyeion smiled and pushed the paper in his pocket then picked up his bags and put it in the truck.

"Whats good bruh." they dapped each other up and got in the car then drove off.

"Man its good to be back." Keyeion said.

"It's good ta see ya." he said.

Keyeion laughed.

"What?"

"Man what the fuck happen to your eye dawg?"

"Maann." he dragged. "Yo wife's friend fucking punched me."

"What you do?"

"I did what the fuck you told me to do. Watch over her." he semi yelled.

"And?"

"Aite so check this, i was watching her and her sister come out the doctors office. I went to drive off but i got a call. I was irritated so i got out and sat on the bench to take a hit. She spotted me so to make it look normal, i walked over to them and over heard them talking bout makeup and some and the baby."

"You know what she having?".

"Na man." he lied.

"I said to her friend 'you one'a the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life.'"

"Ah shit not that line." Keyeion laughed.

"Yeah that line. So she said thank and was about to say some but i cut her off and told her to walk away from me and i walk away. The bitch done tore my hood off, dragging me to the fucking floor Key!! She yelled at me and i didn't know what the fuck happen after that. I could've been raped Key." he stressed while stopping at a red light.

"And what hapen?" He laughed.

"I woke up and it was dark. All the cars were gone and coins were beside me. People thought i was crazy dawg."

"So what'chu do Lee?" He chuckled.

"I picked them the fuck up and went to buy some pill for the head ache bruh." he said and Keyeion busted out laughing.

"You a who damn mess. And it haven't gotten better?"

"Na. But it's healing though. Her heavy handed ass." he chuckled.
