A Few Days Pass
"Hey! Is it a good time to ask if we could study today?" Harvey inquired, raising a hand to wave to me. I stood there with a flushed face and wide eyes. Harvey was actually standing at my front door. How did he find my house anyways? I haven't even given him my address yet!
"Yeah... Come in." I uttered, hesitant to step aside and let him in. I don't know why I was so reluctant, it's not like my house is a landfill or anything... Well, I just returned home and my backpack is still laying sprawled out on the living room floor with books and folders spilling out of it.
He stepped inside, his gaze instantly drinking in the house. Even though he wasn't looking at me, I still felt a little self-conscious. "Woah, it's pretty big! White walls... Nice grey carpet, it's really clean!" he pronounced happily.
When one entered the house just as Harvey did a moment ago, they would see off to their right the kitchen and over to their left - my open living room with two sets of dark couches and a flat-screen TV. In between the kitchen and the living room was a dark wooden staircase that led to my bedroom and the bathroom.
Harvey turned left into the living room, the only thing littering the floor being my backpack from the morning college classes. He knelt down and politely picked it up, organizing the once scattered books and placing them back down onto the ground neatly. "Were you planning to study alone or did you rage and throw it onto the ground? I can't tell between the two..." he joked with a smile pulling at the corners of his lips.
I just chuckled at his perkiness. He must be really happy to be here then. "Make yourself at home. My parents are both at work." I told him, strolling over after making sure the front door was locked. I sat down on the floor next to him, finally realizing that he'd brought his own bag over... The same satchel that he wore when we first met.
I looked over to his rough leather satchel and met his gaze. His eyes were filled with excitement and glee. I inquired, "What do you need to work on?"
He sighed, rolling his eyes back. His smile instantly faded and instead it was replaced with a playful snarl. He scoffed, "Sadly, algebra... Geometry - I'm good with but it's just Algebra... I don't even think pie is nesseccary! Like, when are we ever going to use that in life?!"
In response, I just chuckled softly and ruffled his curly brown hair. His ears and cheeks faded from the normal ivory to a crimson that suited him quite well. "You need help with that 9th grade stuff? I'm a bit stumped on Biology." I told him with a grin highlighting my appearance.
He pouted, his eyebrows furrowing softly. He then admitted, "Okay, okay. So I might not pay attention in certain classes. Don't rub it in my face!"
___
One Hour Later"Ohhh! Okay, I understand now. I thought I had to add a variable somewhere but now I realize there's nothing for the variable to find.." he sighed, leaning back and falling with a thud onto the carpeted floor. He dropped his pencil, clenching and relaxing his hand multiple times... It's probably cramping from how much he wrote within the span of one hour.
"Yeah.. We learned that in 7th grade." I snickered, crawling towards him and looming over his body. I acted as a cage, trapping him below my own figure. "Are we done studying for today then?"
"Y-Yeah, why..." he stammered, unable to look away from my eyes. I felt my lips turn upwards, seemingly calming his worries. His face grew a light shade of rosy red when he noticed I was lowering onto him.
"Ash?" he called quietly, his arms raising to wrap around my neck. We were so close that I could feel his hot breath brushing my mouth. I leaned down even more and locked eyes with him.
"Can I kiss you?" I asked quietly. His eyes widened slightly and in came a spark of confusion. He opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off before he could produce a sound. I pressed my lips to his and moved my hands to his waist.
"Mmh!" he yelped, voice muffled by my mouth on his. His lips were chapped against mine, which was kind of cute. I bet he was pretty baffled, having someone kiss another out of nowhere. Well, I couldn't help it. He was so alluring!
I pulled back, remembering that we both needed air. His face was beet red, which only made me want to kiss him again. He panted shallowly, mouth ajar and eyes foggy. "Again..?" he muttered, barely audible but I managed to catch it.
I obliged and leant down, this time I was able to slip my tongue in as I worked his mouth. He hummed softly, moving his lips in sync with mine... It sent chills down my back. Frankly, it was such an eye-opener as to how it felt kissing him.
Then, we pulled away, desperate for breath. I looked down at him, shifting my arms closer to him so I could fumble with his hair. With those blurry eyes and flushed red cheeks, Harvey seemed a bit gap moe, considering his gender. Well, I'm not saying all guys don't blush and act cute like this, I'm just saying that he's not usually like this.
"...What was that..?" he mumbled, still trying to wrap his head around what just happened. Then, his eyes widened in realization. He looked around, panicky. "W-Woah, wait-- wait!" he yelped.
"I've never felt anything like that before... I... I don't know why I liked it! Aren't I supposed to like girls? Aren't you supposed to like girls..?!" he rambled, shocked yet showing no sign of disgust or anger. Maybe he's confused. To be honest, I was too before I realized that I liked him as more than a friend. Wait, aren't I--
"D-Do you like me? Is that it?"
