Chapter 4: Breaking the News
Edward P.O.V
"How are we going to tell her that we aren't normal." I said scared. "Haha aren't normal? try um how bout vampires." Rosalie said spitefully. "Rosalie stop, Edward just tell her she seems like an open minded girl." Carlie said. "Okay fine Ill just tell her." "Tell me what?" Sabrina asked while she stood grinning at the door. "Sabrina." Rosalie said greeting her with a hug. Wow Ive never seen Rosalie be so nice before, she was never this nice to Bella. I wonder what her deal is. "Will you take a walk with me?" I asked Sabrina. "Of course." Sabrina replied.
Sabrina and I were walking along a trail. Her dark brown hair blew in the wind. Her hair was so dark but in the sun it had a red tint to it. We came to a field the sun shined so bright in the field. I stopped and leaned against a tree. "What afraid to get sunburnt?" Sabrina said jokingly. I shook my head. She looked at me with concern. "Whats wrong Edward?" She asked. "Have you ever wanted to tell someone something, but your afraid they will think your a freak?" I asked. "Edward... You can tell me anything. I wont judge you." Sabrina said concerned while she held my arm. "God I don't even know how to say this, so I'm just gonna say it Im a vampire, but I don't drink human blood. I drink animal blood." I said turning away. She grabbed my shoulder turning me back towards her. "Why is that such a bad thing?" She asked. "Do you even have to ask why Sabrina.." "Ive killed people before." I said solemnly. "Edward.. people have killed people before, you've changed though." Sabrina said. "Aren't you afraid of me?" I asked fearing her answer. "No I'm not scared of you or your family. I can see you guys are good people." Sabrina said. "You are so perfect." I said in awe. "Haha quit being a charmer." She said laughing.
"You need to see what I look like in the sun." I said. "Okay." She replied. I walked in the sun and looked in her eyes. "Your like an angel Edward." She said in amazement. Her hand brushed across my face, then down my chest. I chuckled "I am no angel you are." I said smiling. "Wow quit being so corny!" She said with amusement. "We should get back to my family they will be missing you." I said. She laughed and nodded
