Chapter 26: Shot of Life

I woke up to find Benjamin gone and a note on the pillow next to me. "Hmm he couldn't have just woke me up?" I grumbled to myself while picking up the note. The note read:

My Love,

I had to run to the airport to pick up Amun and Karbi. We will return soon.

I smiled to myself as I got up. I walked into his bathroom and look in the mirror. Oh fuck me.. I thought to myself my hair was a mess. I had crazy, wild, sex hair. I chuckled as I thought about Ben and I last night. I hopped into the shower. I didn't want to look like crap when Amun and Karbi got here. I picked up the honey body wash Benjamin stuck in the shower before he left. Its crazy how he remembers every little thing about me. Soon I finished showering, I got out of the shower. "God its so hot." I said walking out of the bathroom. I pulled on a yellow dress. I was being lazy today. I didn't even bother fixing my hair it was to hot. I let it go natural. I applied a little makeup. I heard the door open. I smiled and ran out of the bedroom and down the stairs.

"Ah there is your mate." Amun said walking up to me. "Hello." I said politely. He hugged me, I was a little shocked but I hugged him right back. "How was your first night together as husband and wife?" Karbi asked smirking. I smiled and looked down. "It was one of the best nights I've ever had." Benjamin said holding my hand. "Have you shown her the city yet?" Amun asked Benjamin. "Ah no not yet, Shall we all go together?" Benjamin questioned. "Perfect! I need to get some clothes." Karbi grinned. Amun shook his head at her. We were all about to walk out the door when I realised they haven't cover up. "Wait! You guys better cover up... The sun is out." I said. They all chuckled at me, I looked at them questionably. "Love everyone in town knows about us. In fact the lord of city is also like us." Benjamin smiled. "Oh."I said embarrassed.

We walked down the streets of the city. It was beautiful. Children were running all around us. I smiled as one little girl hugged my leg. She looked up at me with chocolate brown eyes. A woman ran up to her and pulled her off of me. "Mr. Amun I am so sorry for my daughters actions." The woman said looking down. "It is fine, I don't think Sabrina minded it." Amun said. "No I love kids." I smiled at the little girl admiring my bracelet. "Mommy she looks like the princess from my story." The little girl said. I smiled at her and took off my bracelet. "Here. I have a million more at home." I said. The girl smiled at me and hugged me. "Is she like you." The woman asked Amun. Amun nodded and she smiled at me. "We better get going. To see the rest of the city." Amun said. We nodded and followed behind him leaving the woman and her daughter to shop. We walked and many peopled looked at us in awe. "So they like love you guys?" I asked. "Hmm I guess you could say that, They accept what we have become." Amun said. I nodded as I looked at the eyes of the people who watched us in awe. Benjamin intertwined our hands and Amun smiled. "It is good to see you happy once more Benjamin." Amun said. Benjamin smiled at him and nodded. I looked up at him confused. Was Ben unhappy before? Benjamin looked at me and gave me a Ill explain later look. "We better head back to the house now, It is getting late." Karbi said. We followed Amun back to the house.

We sat at the house. "I want to show you something." Benjamin said standing up. I smiled and followed him. We got to a room with glass doors. I looked inside and it looked like a garden. He opened the door for me and I walked in. There were many different color of roses, and big beautiful trees. There was no roof. "Its beautiful." I gasped. "My father built this room for my mother, My mother always loved roses." Benjamin said touching a red rose near him. "The night my parents died... I stayed in this room and refused to come out.." He whispered. I hugged him from behind. "Im so sorry Benjamin." I said. He turned towards me and smiled. "It is fine Sabrina I am happy now." He smiled. "But you weren't happy before were you?" I questioned. He played with his hands a while before speaking. "After my parents died I walked around like I wasn't really living. I was here physically but mentally and spiritually I was gone. I felt like I wasn't really living. Then I got turned and I wasn't living any more." Benjamin said looking up at the night sky. "Then that day I seen you something sparked inside me. I felt alive again even though Im not really alive." Ben chuckled. I smiled at him and touched his hand. "You made me feel things I thought I would never feel. You gave me love someone can not even try to imagine. With you it feels like life.. Every day with you I feel more and more. You gave me a shot of life." Benjamin spoke looking me in the eye. I smiled and stroked his cheek. He kissed my hand. "Benjamin Im glad I am the one to make you feel those things." I spoke. "Before I met you I couldn't imagine love, I couldn't imagine a love like ours. I love you so much." I whispered moving closer to him. He smiled at me then pressed his lips to mine. "I will love you forever Sabrina." He said pulling away from me. He reached down and picked a red rose. He handed it to me and pulled me closer to him. I cuddled up to him. I ran my hands over the rose, It was so delicate. It was perfect.

Awe I just love writing about Benjamin being sweet. I changed the cover of the book if you guys didn't notice!(: It was nothing major, its still the same pic but I just added a title and my username. I watched re watched Beastly the other day and it inspired me to write this chapter. I just love the ending when Kyle says can you imagine a love like that. I think its the sweetest! anyway.. what are you guys favorite romantic or cute movie? I have a lot of favorite romantic movies. One is definitely Beastly! Ooo and I just seen a commercial for If I Stay, I soooo want to see that! Anyway let me know whats your guys favorite romantic movie is!!!!(: I hope y'all liked this chapter!
