Chapter 8: Mates?
Sabrina P.O.V
I parked my car in the garage and walked up the house. I walked into the house and was pulled into a hug by Rosalie "God you were gone forever! and you smell like a dog." She said disgusted. "Haha sorry!" I said embarrassed. "How was your visit?" Esme asked. "It was alright." I said smiling. "Why are you wearing Jakes shirt?" Edward sneered. "How do you even know its Jakes?" I retorted. "Because his scent is on it." Edward said glaring at my shirt. Shit I forgot about vampire powers. "Seth is clumsy as hell and spilt stuff all over me, and Jake was there and gave me his shirt." I said innocently. "Well that was nice of Jake."Carslie said smiling at me. God could he be any nicer to me. I nodded smiling back at him. "You should probably go to bed now hon." Esme said rubbing my back. "Haha what do I have a bed time now?" I said smirking. "No of course not, but you might wanna get up early to get ready to go to Egypt." Carslie said reading book. "What why are we going to Egypt?" I questioned. "We might get some important allies there honey." Esme said sitting by Carslie. I nodded "So who is all going?" "Me, you, and Esme." Carslie said. I just nodded in agreement. Why was it just gonna be us three? Usually Carslie would bring Rosalie to keep me company, I guess its whatever. "Well Ill go to bed I'm pretty tired." I said yawning. I hugged everyone goodnight, and walked up to my room collapsing on my bed. I soon fell into a deep sleep.

"Wake up sleeping beauty." I heard Rosalie yell as she entered my room. "Ugh get out!" I yelled pulling the covers over my head. She chuckled "You have to get ready to go to Egypt." I sat up staring at my already packed bags on the floor "You do know I am capable of getting ready by myself." "I didn't pack for you. Alice did. Im here to make you look hot." Rosalie said smirking. I sighed walking to the bathroom to get in the shower. I quickly showered, As I stepped out I seen Rosalie sitting in a chair in the bathroom. "That was quick.'' She said. I stared at her "Do you have no boundaries?" I said smiling. She shook her head, and pulled me into a chair. She then went to work on my hair. About 15 minutes later she was done. She stared at me "You look beautiful." I shook my head then looked in the mirror. My hair was loosely curled, I couldn't believe how amazing it looked. She walked out of the bathroom, she returned with a white dress in her hands "Here put this one." I nodded as she walked out. I slipped on my undergarments and the the dress. It went to my mid thigh. It was perfect. Rosalie returned with white gladiator sandals in her hand. I smirked at her, I put on the sandals and stood in front of the mirror. "Now you look like an angel." She said looking at me. I hugged her goodbye before grabbing my bags and walking down the stairs. Everyone gasped when they seen me. "Sabrina you look stunning." Esme said looking at my dress. "Well we should be going then." Carslie said walking towards the door. I hugged everyone goodbye then followed Carslie and Esme out the door.

We rode in Esme's car and we arrived at the airport. The plane was pretty empty, it was weird. I fell asleep on the plane, when I woke up I was in a car. I looked around "You were sleeping so I carried you to the car." Carslie said smiling. I smiled back and looked out the window. Wow Egypt was so beautiful. We pulled up in front of a huge white house. A man opened my door and held out his hand "I am Amun's servant." The man said. I smiled "Im Sabrina." He looked at me with wide eyes "You are beautiful, and also human?" He said looking at Carslie, Carslie just nodded at him. The servant lead us into the house. We stood in a huge room with a pool of water in the middle of the room. "Amun will be with you shortly." The servant said while bowing. He left the room and looked at me with hesitant eyes. What was his problem?

A handsome dark middle aged man walked in. "Carslie! My friend it is wonderful to see you." The man said. "I see you brought Esme also." He said hugging them both. His eyes then landed on me. He had piercing red eyes. "Hmm I don't believe Ive met this new edition to your family Carslie, and she is human? He said looking at me. I walked up to him and hugged him "Im Sabrina." He eyes danced with amusement "She is brave! I like that, I am Amun a good friend of Carslie." Amun said smiling. Then a stunning dark woman walked in and embraces Amun in a hug. "Ah Karbi my love there you are." Amun said. "Carslie, Esme it is wonderful to finally see you again." Karbi said smiling. Her eyes caught mine "Who is this beautiful girl you have with you." "Im Sabrina.. the new edition to Carslies coven. " I said confidently. She smiled and hugged me. "Carslie she is still uh human?" Amun said confused. "I will become a vampire when the time is right." I said smiling. Carslie and Esme smiled at my comment. "Well I think you will make one hell of a vampire." Karbi said. I smiled. Carslie smiled at me "Im glad you want to be a part of our family." I smiled lightly at him. I knew I wanted to be a vampire but I was nervous about if I wasn't going to be strong enough. Carslie then began talking to Amun and Karbi about the volturi problem. Amun looked at me with confusion and sorrow in his eyes.

The water in the pool began to ripple. Water rose out of the pool and floated in the air. I watched in awe. The water fell back in the pool, splashing everyone near the pool. Across the pool stood the most perfect man I had ever seen. He had dark skin like Amun, Jet black hair, and red eyes. His eyes scanned the room with excitement he was smirking. Our eyes locked and the smirk fell from his face. We stared into each others eyes, it felt like we were the only two people in the world. He walked across the pool of water towards me. He finally got up to me. He took my hand in his and he kissed my hand. When he touched me I felt electricity. "I am Benjamin." He said his voice like silk. "Im Sabrina." I said smiling softly. Benjamin looked into my eyes never letting go of my hand. Amun walked up to us "Benjamin how are you able to control
yourself?" "I don't know Amun, I don't have the desire to drink her blood." Benjamin said studying my face. "Amun! Could it be???" Karbi gasped. "Im not sure yet." Amun said studying Benjamin and I. "Shall we test it then?" Carslie said smirking. "Carslie." Esme said warningly. Carslie rubbed her arm "It will be fine." Esme smiled softly at Benjamin and me. I looked at them wondering what they were talking about. Benjamin never let go of my hand. Carslie walked up to us, then he grabbed Benjamin by the neck ad threw him against a wall. "No!!!" I screamed running up to Benjamin. I protectively stood in front of him. Benjamin chuckled "I am fine Sabrina do not worry." "They are mates!" Karbi said hugging me. "You have no idea how long we have waited for Benjamin's mate to come along, and now here you are." Karbi said grinning. "What mates? Uh I don't know." I said worried. "Karbi, my love let her have her space." Amun said. Karbi frowned and moved back. My heart was beating out of control. Benjamin walked up and took my hand in his. I suddenly felt so calm. "I promise I will take care of you Sabrina." Benjamin said comforting me. I got lost in his eyes. I smiled at him "So what now, since we're mates and all." "We should help them Amun, Sabrina is Benjamin's mate so we must protect her too." Karbi said looking at Amun. "We will come." Amun said. Carslie smiled and hugged his friends. "Our home is your home." Esme said smiling.

I watched as Benjamin packed his clothes. One of his scarves laid on the bed beside me. I picked it up and admired it. Benjamin walked up and took it out of my hands. "This one is my favourite one you know." He said smiling. He gently wrapped it around my neck. His fingertips touched the exposed skin on my neck. I smiled at him "Im new to the whole vampire thing, and the mate thing." I said looking at my feet. "Ill be patient, I.. I'll understand if you don't want to be with me Sabrina..." He said with a tear forming in his eye. The tear rolled down his cheek. How could he think I don't want to be with him?? I wiped the tear away with my thumb. "Benjamin.. I said I'm new to this, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be with you.. I want you Benjamin.. I know I just met you but I cant think about even being with out you." I said looking in his eyes. He didn't respond he just hugged me. I rested my head on his shoulder. He was mine.
