For @babynana4105

It was a Friday night and us Pink Ladies and the T-birds were chilling at Frenchy's house. We were having a slumber party as the guys just wanted to stop by. Her parents were out on vacation, leaving the whole house to herself for a week. She and Doody have been caring for the house as I helped her organize her bedroom. I mean, I like things neat and all, but sometimes Rizzo mocks me for my neatness. I bet that she secretly wishes she was as originated as me.
That Friday night was crazy. The birds came in all drunk, making out with all their girlfriends and doing the most craziest things ever. Doody dared Sonny to drink a mixture of milk, ketchup, sugar, carrot juice, and salmon. Of course Sonny drank it all down, and to much to our surprise, he enjoyed it! Meanwhile us girls were our nails done. Rizzo decided to settle on a classic red, Frenchy decided on green, Jan on pink, Marty on yellow, and I on blue.
"Wonder what the boys are doing," Jan wondered as she admired her freshly new painted nails like they were gold or something.
"Yeah. I think I hear some clashes down there," I chipped in. Frenchy rolled her eyes as she face palmed her face.
"Maybe one of us should check on 'em," Marty offered.
"I will I guess," I said.
"Thanks Alanna." Frenchy patted me on the back and smiled. My nails were just about dry as I crept down the stairs to see the boys jumping on the couch drinking beer. The kitchen had pots and pans scattered on the floor as well as spilt milk. Doody pretended he was King Kong, beating his chest and yelling. I didn't know how to stop five drunk boys, but I guess it's not too late to learn.
"Guys," I began. No one even looked at me.
"Guys," I repeated. "You should stop drinking. Y'all are drunk. Frenchy doesn't want her house to be destroyed by you." I tucked a piece of my hair from my face behind my ear. Putzie stopped for what seemed for a split second and then began to laugh so hard, you could of thought he was an hyena.
"Honey, I ain't letting no seventeen year old stopping me," he slurred as he continued to laugh. I rolled my eyes at him and mumbled under my breath.
"Well first of all, I ain't your honey. Second, I am a month older than you Putz. Third, this ain't your house last time I checked. I don't see your last name anywhere in this house. If y'all wanna get drunk somewhere else, exit now, okay?" I began to raise my voice at them as Kenickie looked at me as he chucked a bottle across the room. It smashed into a million little pieces as soon as it hit the wall. They were so drunk, I didn't even know what to do with them.
"Well Marlena, make us get out," Kenickie cooed as he got another beer from the fridge.
"Wow, y'all are so drunk, you called me Marlena. It's Alanna!"
"Whatever," he said as Danny suddenly formed a grin bigger than China. He then took out a lighter and a pack of cigarettes.
Frenchy's parents are extremely harsh on smokers. Usually Doody doesn't smoke around them but sometimes does if he smokes, which doesn't make sense. I remember Frenchy telling me that her aunt's house got caught on fire because a reckless greaser threw his cigarette near her house. I don't want the same to happen to French, she's such a great gal.
"Danny, put those cancer sticks away, it's dangerous smoking in an house. Especially someone else's." I claimed as he groaned. He then lit the stick and jumped off the couch and slithered his way over to me.
"Alanna, you ain't stopping me doll face," he stated as the unthinkable happened. He slapped me across the face, leaving my face hot red and hurting like hell. I finally lost it and then took his cigarette out of his mouth, ran to the sink to put it out, and then stormed back to him.
"Danny, get out, just get out. Drink and abuse some other chick some other place other than my friend's house!" I screamed as he blankly looked at me. His face showed absolutely no expression. Then the five of them walked out of the house after much arguing.
I ran upstairs as I walked into Frenchy's room. Rizzo looked at me as she got up and rushed over to me.
"What happened Alanna?" She asked as I suddenly burst into tears. I didn't care that the toughest girl in our school was right next to me. I didn't care that the Pink Ladies barely cried. Danny physically hurt me with his hand.
"Danny was beginning. To smoke downstairs so. I told him to. Stop but he got upset. And slapped me." I said as the four other girls looked at me with sympathy. Frenchy came over and hugged me. Rizzo's jaw dropped as she couldn't believe what just happened.
"That little brat, he can't hurt my friend. I'm so sorry Alanna," she said as she also hugged me. I smiled as my head began to pound. Frenchy ran out of her room and came back with an ice pack and ice cream. She placed the pack on my cheek as she opened the container of ice cream.
"Ice cream always makes me feel better when I'm upset. Do you wanna watch anything particular on the television?"
I smiled as I nodded. "Is American Bandstand on?"
Frenchy smiled as she flipped through the channels until she came across it.
"Anything for you Alanna. I love the boys and all, but thanks for kicking 'em out of my house. They are as drunk as horses!"
I giggled as I sat down eating ice cream with my best friends watching people twirl and dance to Elvis.

                                                                                                     Two Weeks Later

I was at Frosty Palace one day after school when we had an early dismissal. I always tend to go there when we get out of school early. I was shuffling through milkshake flavors as I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Danny, holding out my favorite flavor - chocolate chip cookie dough. He sat down next to me as he began to bawl. Like full on bawl. Like bawl like I have never seen a boy bawl before.
"Alanna. I never meant to slap you across the face. You... You.... You were right. I should of not lit that cigarette in her house. What happened if her house caught in fire? Huh? I would be blamed all because of a stupid decision. I should of never agreed to get beer with Kenickie and even drink more out of Frenchy's fridge. Just please Alanna, I swear on my life I'm sorry." He cried as I looked at him. He was definitely sorry.
I leaned over the table, grabbed the collar of Danny's leather jacket, and smooched him. His tears stopped as he slowly began to kiss back.
"It's okay. Just don't be that stupid ever again. You dig?"
Danny smiled as he ruffled my hair. "I dig. I just want to make my girl happy."
Danny never hit me ever again from that moment on.
