Alex POV

I walked back to the guest bedroom and laid down staring at the ceiling. My brain was going everywhere, wondering if he loves me, or if he actually care about me. I start to tear up..

Am I not enough for him?

I heard the door knob turn, I stood up and looked at the door. I knew Nyle was behind. "Just come in if you want Nyle." I said wiping my tears away. He opened the door, when I saw his face I cried even more. I put my head down on my hands and started to cry like a maniac. Nyle ran to me and gave me a hug.

"It's going to be alright Alex." He says rubbing my arm. Is he lying? How is everything going to be alright? "I'm sorry Alex." He says kissing my forehead.

"Am I not good enough for you Nyle? Please be honest. I don't want to live with someone who doesn't love me.." I said removing my hands from my face. I stared up at him and he gave me those eyes. Those eyes told me that its going to be alright..

"You are good enough for me Alex.." he says while his eyes pierce through mine. He being honest.

"If I am, why bother cheating on me with that?" I spat looking at him with angry eyes which made me more emotional. One tear drop came from my eyes and I let it fall. I looked at him with disappointed eyes. "So I'm actually not good enough for you Nyle? Am I really that much of a burden and a failure to you?" Nyle leaned towards me and says

"You're mine. Please don't run away again. I want you. Samantha and I aren't a thing. I only want you." He says before kissing me.

My phone dinged as I got a text message. 'Chanel' my phone read. Finally she texted me, it's been 3 days. I unlocked my phone and saw her text.

Chanel: "Let's go to the mall today, I'll come pick you up in 5 minutes."

It's been ages since I've been to the mall. I went to my room and went to see if I had any cash.

Alex: "By the way I moved. I'll text you the address right now."

She didn't know that I moved in with Nyle. I quickly responded and got to the washroom. I got in the shower and turned the dial. The water hit my back first. The hot water soothing me.

I kept thinking on what to wear. Deciding on what I should wear, my phone rang. Someone was calling me. My phone read Nyle. Nyle left to go to work and he left me here at the house. I answered the phone and I heard his serious voice. He never really uses this voice, but he does when we have sex, or when he's mad.. There was awkward silence between us but I broke it and spoke.

"Hey Nyle, why'd you call?" I awkwardly say trying so hard not to get Nyle mad.. He has a short temper and he can take his anger out on me.

"I just wanted to check if my baby is okay." He replied changing the tone of his voice. He spoke in a calming but serious voice. I like it..

"Oh Haha, I'm okay Nyle. By the way, I'm going out with my friend today. Can I go?" I gritted my teeth. He better let me go. Besides if he says no, I'll still go.

"Of course. Be home by 7:30. I have a surprise for you my love." He says before hanging up.

What surprise?

I got dressed and waited in the kitchen for Chanel to come. I wore a black shirt with black skinny jeans and a beige trench coat that I stole from Nyle. It was really comfy. My stomach growled so I went to the kitchen to cook something. I opened the fridge and nothing special was there. Normally the fridge is full but this time around it isn't. I looked around and nothing was in the fridge. I realize that Nyle always keeps a stock of ramen in the cupboard. Such a smart man.

I opened the cupboard and saw so much ramen. Thinking on which one I should eat, the doorbell rang.

Ugh I just wanted to eat.

The kitchen was pretty close to the front doors. I walked to the door and looked through the peephole. I saw Chanel scrolling through her boyfriends Instagram. He looks familiar.. Really familiar.. She rang the doorbell again and I opened the door. She looked up at me and gave me a big hug. I miss hugging her.

"I've missed you so much Alex!" She says gripping me tight. I felt my shirt get wet from her tears.

"Are you crying Chanel?" I saw grabbing her face. Her mascara was all messed up.

"I really miss you Alex! These are tears of joy, even though it's been 3 days" she said wiping her tears away and fixing her face. She really loves me haha.

"Let's go now. I don't wanna stay here." I say grabbing Chanel and walking out of the house.

Chanel and I drove to this big mall. She pulled up in a parking space and got out, I got out also. We walked inside the mall and I instantly smelled body odour. I grabbed my nose and pinched it so I wouldn't smell. Chanel laughed at me. "I love you so much Alex!" She chuckled. We walked to the nearest Starbucks and ordered drinks. She got an espresso shot and I got a iced americano. Once we got our drink we sat at a table to catch up on our lives.

"You start first Chanel." I say sipping my drink.

"Well.. I got a boyfriend." She said quietly but I heard it. She blushed and looked up.

"What's his name?" I said curiously.

"His name is Liam. Liam Ezra." She replied taking a sip of her drink. I was in shock.. my mouth formed into a 'o'. The guys she was talking about was Liam. The guy at Starbucks. The guy with the Range Rover I kicked..

"Oh." I say chugging my drink.
