Isn't weird that as king of hell is walking down on the Earth Surface. Walking down on the lonely street where kids ran around this time of night collecting their treats. I was just walking in my black suit. I just walked around, minding my own hell business. Hearing screams from the children and the laughter of the adults. I walked down the street to see a lonesome little girl. I was shocked as she just wore pixie wings, a crown, and a tutu. I thought it was cute, I smirked as I walked over to her. I sat next to her making candy from my hand. I looked down to her bucket to see there was a good handful of candy. I put my own candy, she looked up to me. She looked like a five-year-old. "I didn't say trick or treat!" She told me as she picked up a handful of candy and put it back in my hand. She stood up straightening her tutu. She stopped in front of me holding out her pumpkin bucket. "Trick or Treat!" She smiled at me.
I put back the candy back in her hands, then looked at my hands. What was that? I clenched my hands to see her looking at the street. "So why are you out here on your own?" I asked.
She looked at me with a small smile, "My mom is inside, she told me to wait for her. I went to my neighbors and asked for candy. They seem sad though." I looked at her. I sighed looking at my hand.
"I can take you?" I asked looking down at her with a best as I can smile.
She stared at me, "Momma said no talking to strangers." She looked away. I frowned looking at her, then rubbing my neck. Kids, why does it have to be a kid. Right now I could be talking to a druggie and making a deal but nope stuck with a kid who is just minding her business. I am a sucker. I frowned then put back on a smile for the girlie.
"Well you can call me Lucie," I stuck out a hand for her.
She looked down at my hand then grab it, "Faith." She smiled up at me.
I looked at her shock, "What a beautiful name." I told her with a charming smile.
She covered her face with her tiny hands, "Thank you, Mr. Lucie."
I stuck out my tongue in a teasing matter, "No problem little Angel." I teased.
She looked up at me, "Am I an Angel?" She asked.
I nod my head, "Of course."
She frowned, "I don't want to be an angel."
I had a mini panic attack, demons like to feed off fear and sadness. "Well, what do you want to be?" I asked looking at her, sitting down on this curb is going to give me a backache; but I stayed waiting for her response.
"I want to be a princess!" She twirled around with laughter.
I tensed, that is so cute. I looked at her with a smile. "Hmm... but you need a Prince for that." I told her.
She looked at me then she tapped her finger to her chin, in a thinking matter. "You're right Mr. Lucie. I do." She looked around then back at me, "I'll find him one day!" She told me.
I looked at her with a smile, "I hope you do." I told her. She grabs my hand, then she pointed down the street.
"Let's go trick or treating. But first I need to tell mom I am going with a friend." She ran over to her home before stopping and turning around. "Will you bring me back home?" She asked worriedly. I nod my head as I shooed her to go ask her. She went inside as I sighed tucking my hands into my jacket. Then looking up to the sky, damn that God. It even had a fate for me, an evil person like me. I stretched out my arms feeling more relaxed. I waited for a while until she comes out with a sad face. "My mom said yeah." She grabs my hand and leads the way. I looked up at the sky, smirking. I'm sorry God, but this time I am making sure she is purer than all the world humans.
