I was looking at the books.

They looked cool but I couldn't read it.

Maybe Keith could read it for me?

His English is pretty good.

"Hey Keith?"

"Yes?" Keith said looking up at me.

"When did you learn English?" I asked.

"Oh? I learned English from my mom." Keith said blankly.

"How did your mom know English?"

"I don't know."

Keith looked sad and angry.

Did something happen to his mom?

I kept looking at the books and I saw a title that looked English.

I grabbed the book and saw the title, "The Lost Boy" what a unique name.

I giggled slightly.

'Once upon a time a boy was born into this life he hated, which was that, he lived in the water.'

I looked up and saw Keith leaving.

I swam after him.

"Where are you going??" I said catching up to him.

"Oh? I was going to go get fish.." he responded blankly.

"Can I come with you?" I said with a big smile on my face.

I knew he wasn't alright.

I followed Keith.

"How do you get fish?" I asked.

"Do you hit it with your tail or something..?" I asked again.

"That's just hurting the fish! I rarely eat fish because I like crabs better.." Keith said looking at the fish with a slight smile.

"Crabs are gross!!" I said with a face of disgust.

He rolled his eyes.

I looked down at my hands. My nails were long.

I looked at him.

"We use are finger nails to kill the fish don't we?" I asked.

He nodded.

After we were done getting the fish Keith left to do something.

I sighed.

Keith was getting sad and mad with me a lot today.

Maybe when I was talking about his mom he got mad.

His mom probably died or left him.

That made me feel sad.

It was boring here.

By myself.

I haven't seen a shark yet but do they hurt mermaids and merman like they do to humans?

I miss everything. My mom. My brothers and sisters. I missed everything.

I felt lost.

Maybe I was the lost boy?
