{20} First Kiss

Lance looked out of breath? I walked up to Lance and planted a hand on his shoulder. "What's wrong?" I whispered softly. He opened his mouth, but closed it right after; his eyes widened.

Everybody else was already finishing. "Stand up..." I whispered softly into his ear. He got up slowly and he grabbed my arm when he was about to fall.

"Is something wrong?" Lance's mom asked looking at both of us. "No, no, no! It's fine! Don't worry!" I said smiling nervously. She nodded and asked again, "You sure?" She said placing a hand to her left hip. Lance nodded quickly. He groaned in the back of his throat. She smiled and walked off, still slightly nervous.

I picked him up and ran to his room. I placed him on his bed. He had scales running down his face, by his ears. Nothing was happening to me which didn't make sense. "Lance..." I said waving a hand in front of his face. He looked up at me and sighed.

I hugged him gently, but he hugged back hardly. I looked at him. He looked hurt and in pain. His beautiful ocean eyes streaming down with tears. "Don't cry..." I said softly putting my fingers into his brown curly hair. He hiccups.

I look at him. Maybe this is my only chance? To feel loved. I placed my lips onto his. The second I put my lips on his I was sweating. A couple seconds go by and I am about to stop, but he starts to kiss me back softly.

I felt tears run down my face. He opens his eyes. "Are you crying??" He said getting up slowly and hugging me tightly. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist. Is this how love feels like? I feel so happy.. I looked at him and smiled brightly.

Then I noticed...his blue scales were gone? How? I looked at his hand but nothing. "Is something wrong?" Lance asked looking into my eyes. "It's fine!" I said. He nodded and grabbed my hand. He held it firmly. He blushed. I am happy he was my first kiss.

Is it bad to say...I am in love?
